  1. That would happen for one game and the club would get a huge fine. I also think that the next few league games would be played behind closed doors. Also, if the current protests continue, Rafa will probably request that they stop like last season and those at the healm of the campaign will duely oblige. If the team keeps winning, then the masses will take no real notice of any protests.
  2. Bad form. That's the kind of rubbish I would expect to read on another Liverpool site.
  3. Reminds me of the old Villa song for Dwight Yorke.
  4. Is that what he is talking about when he refers to ICE? Enjoyed the programme last night. Not his best work but still a good watch.
  5. It's sold out apparently. I am London based at the moment so I doubt I will be at it. Aparently, the initial love in mood planned between the Bohs and Irish Liverpool fans died a death last week and it could end up being a lot more than a friendly off the pitch.
  6. I dont think that would be a good idea. If you do that then you break up the Gerrard/Torres partnership.
  7. Time to draw a line under this, get the deal done and start looking for a replacement. No fucking about, get the money in one installment.
  8. Given that he is claiming self defense, there is little doubt that he threw a few punches or something. If he had no physical part to play in the incident, he would be claiming mistaken identity. He could have just picked up his stuff and walked out of the bar when (if) the dj started acting up. Im sure other premises would have loved his custom.
  9. Always had massive respect for this man .....................
  10. Tim Cahill for £1.5m from Millwall to Everton was an excellent buy to be fair.
  11. That doesnt bode well for PL sales for the new schemes. Its gonna crash in no time. People will be living on the phones. Im not renew/buying a new one myself. Sick of all this membership nonsense.
  12. I was there last September for 3 days. We stayed in the Best Western Anker Oslo. The address Storgata 55 Oslo 0182. It is located in the rougher part of town and it was ok, nothing bad but certainly nothing special as hotels go. When you arrive in Torp there is a bus service outside the airport for Oslo. Make sure you dont miss the bus because the service is based around flight times and the taxi cost to Oslo would be insane. Taxis are very expensive there.
  13. Sets the trend nicely for prices in Oslo. Easily the most expensive place I have visited for food and drink. €10-€12 a pint in the city centre. Also, note that Oslo Torp airport (low fares) is about 1h 45 mins from Oslo.
  14. I know. If I had evidence that someone in prison was innocent of a crime, I would be straight down to the police station. It would be on my mind 24/7 until I did so. I have always maintained that there is a large helping of, "he is a red, he must be innocent" about this case. I also think that it is truely disgraceful that the biggest victim in this, the Bulgarian man who's life is truely destroyed is consistently disregarded. That man's life and that of his young family is shattered beyond repair. He went out to do a honest nights work, to put some food on the table for his family and look what happened to him.
  15. Good quality knock offs or the real deal? Also which team?
  16. That is where the danger lies. People are looking at this pardon as one case but there is a bigger picture here. It's not a simple as this one case. If he was/is granted the pardon, then it opens a door for other cases where British citizens have been convicted abroad. Straw needed to be very careful with this one. It was/is a potential time bomb for future appeals and cases (outside Michael's)
  17. Like what? The case files influenced his current decision and that is what really matters here.
  18. He does have the power but on review he and his legal team must have deemed Shields is neither morally or technically innocent or either of the former.
  19. That is a very good point. I forgot about Ronaldo being a lazy self-centred twat, who rarely tackles or tracks back. Valencia will work has for the team, you can bet on that.
  20. For Wigan. Lets wait and see how he plays and how many he scores after a few months playing with far better players at United before classing him as a rubbish signing. Benzema is an excellent young player and has all the necessary attributes to develop into a top class player. If United sign him, he could easily become the cornerstone of a successful United team for the next 5+ years.
  21. Christ on a bike. You would swear that we were battling against relegation, year in year out, before Rafa arrived. Good post overall but this is OTT.
  22. Dont laugh too hard, it could happen. Owen is a perfect example of this. If he gets a run of games next season, scoring a handful of goals, the media will start to push for Owen to return to the national squad. If he gets a few games in the WC and scores one or 2, he will be "world class" again and snapped up by a big club (Man City) for silly money.
  23. Also, with such a high level of tickets on sale online, the system will die at about 8.40am on day of sale and people will have no choice but to sit around and fork out £10+ diallling, if they want a ticket.
