He come across as an absolute gent there is his interview with Hazel Irvine, did Cink. I'm pleased for him as he seems a decent enough fella, even though I was disappointed neither Watson or Westwood could win it. Westwood seems to bottle it whenever he looks like winning a major, maybe he's destined to follow in Monty's footsteps, he did play splendidly for most of the four days though.

He is a gent VV, met him at the Hoylake open and he was a crackin fella, did the whole signing the hat and photo thing with my lad and was only too happy to do so, which was in direct contrast to some of the arseholes that were around that day, made up for him today.

I just caught the play-off. Watson was tired. A great shame but his effors will not be quickly forgotten. Well done Cink. Another great Open.

 

* Little lad turned three today. I got him a set of golf clubs - proper little cut down ones. He's been dying to play whenever he sees me go out with my clubs. If this works out well that could be the pension sorted!
