Non-British people finding Scouse difficult to understand -- the HORROR of it all. The Scousers I know are generally proud that they speak unlike any other people on Earth...

 

When I first moved to Liverpool I was puzzled to hear muscle-bound, tattooed, shaved head tough guys speaking quite a few registers above what you'd expect. You get used to it quickly, but if you haven't grown up in Liverpool (or England for that matter) it's a bit difficult to completely understand some folks around here.
