places to stay in Cork

Bejaysus, Potatoes, you can shove it up yer bellacks, feck orf and all that. I am looking to visit the emerald isle in May for a few nights with the missus. (3 nights) can anyone reccommend anywhere decent and cheap (emphasis on the cheap) to stay.

 

I've sorted flights for £70 return for the pair of us (would've been £9.98 without tax the bastards) so i need to find somewhere decent to stay.

 

any help much appreciated.

Jurys inn in cork is cheap and cheerful and close to city centre.

Try hotels or B&Bs, perhaps youth hostels too, you can stay at any of those in Cork. :whistle:

it does help actually Emlyn, it eliminates you from the list of people to ask what there is to do in Cork, so all i have to do is find you on my list and i can cross you off. I wish i'd alphabetised this fucking list!

You can complain to all and sundry about Steve Staunton's discriminatory selection policy. He has a terrible bias against crap players from Cork, and the locals take issue with that kind of thing.

Go to Kinsale some night. It's a great place. I remember a restaurant called The Shack, but I don't know if it is still there or not because I am talking about 5 years ago. It was a brilliant place for food.

I was only around 12 or 13 when I was there, but I can remember how big the knickerbocker glory was. But Kinsale is a lovely place in general.
