    36 year old James Milner is currently a first team starter. I love him, but I'm not sure this is the situation we should be in. Funny, I saw those video clips of Thiago doing all sorts of mad personal training over the summer and knew then he'd get injured early on in the season.

    They've returned to their normal. The Ferguson years were a freak occurrence, won't happen again.

    Yeah it's crazy, and we might go to Old Trafford 7 points behind Man City. But we've only got ourselves to blame by taking 2 points from Fulham and Palace, unfortunately.

    I remember being impressed with him in the world club championship tournament, and he seemed to strike up a partnership with Salah. Not sure what happened after that. Probably got injured.

    We need Mo closer to the goal, not stuck out on the touchline hoping he'll dribble past three players and curl in an 18 yarder.

Becker Trent (at right back, not up front) Gomez VVD Robertson (at left back, not up front) Hendo Fabhino (needs to pull his finger out though, he's been pretty average for a while) Keita (I know I know but he played well here last season) Mo Bobby Diaz Won't have much coming from the bench apart from the young lads.

    Monday 29th August. I'm assuming it'll be live on YouTube (or even a news channel). Watched The Real Right Stuff on Disney which was excellent. Highly recommended.

    I often aggressively monitor Mel Reddy's Instagram. I think she's had some plastic work done on her face, not as nice as she used to be. This is the full extent of my interest in transfers, I'll be honest.

    The formation was a mess. Salah was playing wing, Diaz was wing/midfield (and was very poor first half), the full backs as you say were playing up front, Nunez was trying his best to get onto lazy crosses, the forwards were miles from each other. Bizarre.

    "Liverpool’s midfield... just a bunch of guys running around...it’s just a bunch of guys that chase and try to give it to the front three." Isn't that their job in Klopp's set up though? We get creativity from the full backs and front three. The midfield are water carriers. It's why Gini was so important - he was the ultimate blank midfielder. That changed a little with Thiago, but I think he was a rare indulgence buy for Jürgen.

    I have no recollection of posting in this thread, and I came on to write exactly what it seems I wrote over a year ago. I've already said it, but no harm in saying it again - his run of albums from the late 60s to mid 70s is absolutely brilliant and second to none. If Rod had died in 1976 he would be regarded as absolute rock royalty. People would say, "just imagine what more he could have accomplished...". Unfortunately that was D ya think I'm sexy. Buy anyway, that first decade, he really was something special.

    I'm on a train to London and it's full of ESD - badly dresses fellas in their late 20s all saying LAD every other word. "LAD, get on this til tok LAD, fuckin BOSS this LAD." And women who all seem to have had lip filler and whose voices are impossibly high pitched.
