    We had scrambled eggs on toast this morning. Sometimes, Breakfasts should just be a more simple affair - eggs loose, proper butter on a non-mass produced, bloomer, with a black tea. Sound like.

    It’s almost like we could do with a new kind of continental league for those who aren’t sponsored by an oil state, who can then maximise their income potential by playing similar sized clubs, who also aren’t backed by a small country or oil state and with these additional and more lucrative revenue streams for TV and advertising - give these non oil state or small country backed clubs, a realistic chance to compete on a financial basis season in, season out, I guess.

    Champions, 5/10, bar the touching performances from the supporting cast, it was pretty much forgettable. Found out later this is a remake and the original (Spanish) version is so much better, which I’ll be hunting down in time and watching, I feel soiled by watching this version.

    She had two rows of 7 boxes, the top row had the most recent, that’s where Jurgen went and made it 7, the lower row was full with HH’s in a better state and she told me there was a load more in the shed and garage and they’re ready to be released in the next few days. Guessing she must have had about 25-30. Possibly more.

    Local being Leyland, we had to drive 20 minutes. Fairfield rescue centre never picked up and I was on a mission!

    Took the dog for a walk earlier, found a Hedgehog curled up looking like it was on its last legs, so broke into full Daktari mode - located our nearest Hedgehog rescue centre on me phone, went straight home, got a blanket, a box and Mrs Butty(someone had to hold the box) then drove back, found it again, wrapped it up in the blanket, got it in the car and got it to the Hedgehog rescue centre. The lady there was sound, she established its sex(he), we weighed him, gave him a booster injection and wrapped him in a blanket and placed him in his own box with special food. She then asks me my name, contact details and what I’d like to name him - you’ll all be pleased to know, Jurgen is in good hands and on the road to recovery. I’ll be calling back in a few days to see how he’s getting on. Rooooooar!

    2 weeks in and this years garlic is sprouting nicely.

    The McDonalds McPlant burger, using the Beyond meat patty, is outstanding. It’s been many years since I had a full McDonald’s meat burger, this burger is head and shoulders above those. If you are in a McDonald’s by chance, try the McPlant, you won’t be disappointed. The Vegi dippers are lovely as well.

    So glad the club have put the renewal email out whilst we are still in March. I don't know where I'd be without them.
