  1. Ive never wished us defeat in my life but I'm seriously considering it after reading this Shite from Shrek.Rafa should stick this on the dressing room wall, all the motivation we need to go out and lose. "Wayne Rooney hopes arch-rivals Liverpool can do Manchester United a favour in the title race against Chelsea next weekend. United trail Chelsea by one point as the battle for the Premier League title comes down to the final two games. Chelsea travel to Anfield and United visit Sunderland next Sunday in what could prove to be the pivotal day in the title race. Liverpool fans would not be happy to see a win over Chelsea help United go on to break their record of 18 league titles. The Reds still have faint hopes of finishing fourth and Rooney believes Liverpool's need to qualify for Europe will have them motivated to beat Chelsea. "I'm sure Liverpool will want to beat Chelsea," said Rooney. "The pride they've got and the history they've got, I'm sure they'll want to win that game. "They are fighting to get into the Europa League." Sky Sports | Football News | Premier League | Manchester United | Rooney hopes for Reds favour Cheeky twat
  2. Cant find anything online about how much this chinese lad is worth. If he was totally minted surely there'd be something somewhere
  3. found this on EST but it came from RAWK its not positive news at all. its bad news pure and simple. Last week we owed 271.79€M and were under pressure from our Banks to reduce that by another 114.68€M. This would have made our debt manageable. Instead Barclays "ride to the rescue" by allowing G&H to transfer the 271.79€M debt to them - unreduced - and for good measure allow them to add the 72.25€M which G&H paid out personally last summer back on to the club debt. This deal is great for G&H as it pays back any personal money they have put into the club and mean they are no longer out of pocket. Plus it effectively re-starts the clock and gives them another 3 years at least as co-owners before the bank starts asking questions. Yes, if Barcap find a buyer stupid enough to buy the club at a mad, ridiculous price then of course they will sell and walk off with 172.02€M each. But in the likley event that doesnt happen, they will continue to own the club with the debt now owed to another Bank. They are the big winners from this deal. The big losers is of course LFC which has now had its debt INCREASED and remains more uncompetitve than either. The chance of a new stadium is more unlikely than ever as is the chance of us getting back into the top 4 next season. Arsenal, United, Chelsea and particulalry City will all buy big this summer. We, on the other hand, are now saddled with even more debt than before and owe it to a Bank which seems unlikely to put the owners under the kind of pressure to reduce it that RBS were. This is a disastrous deal for Liverpool and another nail in our coffin.

  5. Fixed that for you:thumbup:
  6. An Alan Sex thread that actually is safe for work. Very Disappointed:(
  7. My missus popped our first kid a mere 5 hours after I arrived in Liverpool from Dublin for a game. She was fine when I left,no labour or nothing I stayed the weekend and saw the young lad when I got home the sunday. Its not my fault she popped 4 weeks early. Plus he's a red now so he understands.
  8. Was that ever confirmed though. Can't recall seeing anything about it on the LFC website and even if he is in the academy and he has nothing to do with the first team so how would it be his call to withdraw Stevie from any squad
  9. Rob Price is our Head Physio is he not? thought Dave Galley left in 2007.No mention of him on the staff profiles

  12. The Snapper is the best of the trilogy and the hardest to find.It never gets shown anywhere either for some reason but its comedy gold. Its miles better than the Commitments and The Van which was utter utter shite.
  13. if he really was gutted about going then why not stay. Its not like he was being left to rot in the reserves,he was getting picked every game he was fit for last season. He might be sad to go but I think its 50:50 as to the reasoning or whos at fault behind him going
  14. I voted for banks but having seen that one then that gets the nod for me. simple amazing
  15. Funny how the Beeb and sky sports put his comments online yet neither off them refer to him being an obvious hypocrite for slating Rafa for his comments about Everton, especially since his actual quote was "smaller team" rather than the blueshite being a small club. Since he won't talk to the beeb anyway you think they'd be more than happy to piss him off.
  16. Over the last few years I've spoken to other players and had the idea that Sir Alex still thought I had something to offer. "I was always clinging to the hope that he would ask me to come and play for them one day." What a total cunt.
  17. Its not shrewd signing or anything like it IMO. If anybody seriously thinks the Mancs would've have been anywhere near Owen If they'd gotten Benzema or indeed if Tevez had stayed they are deluded. He was a desperate choice from a man who lost his first choices. There are zero other top class strikers available so he took a chance on Owen. We'll see how it works out.
  18. Lyon have confirmed it now:- Lyon have announced that star striker Karim Benzema is to become the latest player to join Real Madrid. The French forward had been linked with Manchester United, but big-spending Real - who have already captured Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo in record deals - have won the race. Lyon have said the transfer will be worth at least £30million as new Bernabeu president Florentino Perez continues to build a new era of 'galacticos'. A statement on the French club's official website said: "Lyon announces the agreement with Real Madrid of the transfer of international attacker Karim Benzema for a net minimum value of €35m. "It will also be possible to add various no-claims bonuses related to athletic performances, allowing the deal to reach a maximum amount €41m." Preference It was thought that Benzema would remain at Lyon for one more season in order to concentrate on the 2010 World Cup. However, the Ligue 1 outfit have announced that the attacker told the club's hierarchy that he wanted to join Real, who he preferred to United, this summer. The statement continued: "A few days ago, Karim Benzema informed president Jean Michel Aulas of his wish to join Madrid, which has always been his preference after Lyon, quicker than it was initially considered. "The player wished to seize the opportunity that was offered to him by Real, which was to be one of the major elements of the club's new, ambitious policy built around some of the largest players in the world. "Lyon accepted the decision of Karim Benzema and negotiated the conditions of a transfer which satisfy the various elements. "The club wishes Karim the greatest success with Real Madrid."
