He is usually quite positive with his passing and shows a lot of energy winning the ball back too. He is by far the best of the bunch we have available in midfield at the moment, creatively and defensively. Dominated the game yesterday in a way Jones or Keita rarely ever do.

You only had to look at the other clubs who were interested in signing Elliott to know that, as long as he didn’t suffer a career derailing injury, he would - at the very, very least - develop into a high quality Premier League player.
