Even rat boy Neville thought it was handball. Not read it but the new law pretty much confirms it too. 

The big shit bastard played well but I’m surprised you never mentioned how many times he was offside. He was offside in the build up to his goal but got away with it. 
I don’t think that role suits Jota, much better off the left or as our number 9.

Most of the time he was offside was because his team-mates didn't play him the ball. He was making run after run in behind but too often the pass didn't get played when it should have been. The goal was an exception to that, that was on him but thankfully Diaz took over so it was moot.

Not sure about Jota in the second striker role, there are some things I've seen that I've liked so I'm reserving judgement on it.

You can not win against 12 men when one of them is the Ref.

Also Diaz got booked for Martinelli tripping over his own feet. 

Looks offside to me too, but it's really tight and the lines on the pitch might not be accurate. That's why they should be showing us their workings out. Massive red flag that they haven't.

Apologies for the no show on the pod. Didn’t see the message until this morning. I put my phone away and on charge in disgust right on the final whistle and never picked it up again until this morning. Didn’t want to even think about football never mind read about or discuss it. 

Fair play for facing up to this and delivering a show!

There's all sorts going on, but I do think a lot of damage could be undone with two quality midfield signings as soon as the window opens.

The Bellingham stuff is just a pipe dream, but there must be players out there who we can bring in. Robust, technically sound, mid 20s. It'll help the defence and the attack.

Keita and Ox need binning off. Milner needs to retire. Henderson needs to take on the Milner role. 

Deffo need three midfielders. Genuinely wondering whether we just go ahead and make Trent one of them though. Plays to his strengths, minimises his weaknesses and gets him out of this ridiculous spotlight. Then sign more of a Robbo type right back with the kid as his understudy. Also wondering if Mo needs to play more centrally and we sign a right forward. Or if Trent plays there. 
 

All just thinking out loud from me, but we need to act decisively. And quickly. The squad needs shaking up. Ferguson always responded to adversity with bold transfer business and it usually paid off. Usually I’d be all for evolution as it worked for Paisley but this league isn’t hanging around.

Ha, ha, ha!!! I love Brownie on the pod, but he’s a fiend for talking over everyone. Just gets super-animated about getting his points across. 

The Darren England chat had me howling with laughter. Thank you, much needed after watching that shite yesterday. 

In fairness Brownie is the only reason there was a pod. He was badgering me to do it and initially I said no. He really wanted to do it though so I went along with it.

The longer I think about this the more that I am raging at the officials than our pathetic defending. Michael Oliver is one gormless corrupt cunt.

Add the pathetic excuse for VAR not being able to draw the lines for first goal! 

We weren't robbed. We were well beaten by a better side. 

They where better in the second half and still didn't do much damage bar 2 minutes we controlled the first half. Diaz going off gave them a huge boost. Honestly I don't think arsenal are that good at all at least nowhere near title challenges unless city have a very  bad season. They should feel lucky VAR was a disgrace as that's the reason for their 3 points nothing else, christ we couldn't of made it easier for them in the second half our decision making was nuts like having a sober friend and you keep offering him a drink because you don't fucking think.

Hoping we kick up a massive stink about the Saka offside. It’s fucking scandalous. Also just seen that Darren England is on VAR for the city game and Tony ‘the Manc’ Taylor is the ref. Fucking great.

Wasn’t it Brownie who was ‘merry’ after the Red Mancs last year? Great fun that was!
