I do think he has more than paid his dues, he's been a cunt, been frozen out the team, but at a time where we are lacking defensive quality, and to be honest lacking defenders full stop, I think we should have brought him back in. I know it's not the most prestigious of cups but I genuinely want us to be in it whenever possible, (excluding champions league qualifications obviously) The main highlights of last year were all fantastic nights in the europa, smashing the mancs, the comeback against dortmund, the double YNWA had me tingling, shame we shit the bed in the final. Can't really blame them entirely, the media want to do their best to spin this as a competitive fight, and make out that there may be an upset, because more people will want to see that. It generates more ppv views and more money. The fact that some people after hearing the propaganda over and over have began to believe it isn't surprising. Basically Bellew and sky sports have repeated the lines about haye being unfit, and unprepared, enough times for people to start believing it.

It's always a bit boring at the beginning of series, they are good at doing the ends though, lots of tension and big set pieces. Maybe the series are just too long, too much filler. My main issue at the minute is with that scrapyard gang, all talking like they are mentally deficient, "take rick to the up up up" plus having a shit fringes and got names like hobbits, I wasn't surprised to find out that they were created by the writers and not taken from the comics. I had similar feelings, I remember a while ago hearing about Rodgers method of having the players peak fitness around the halfway mark, with the plan to be fitter than our opponents after that point. Seemed to make sense, especially in 13/14, beginning of the season was a lot of ground out 1-0's and a couple of losses and draws thrown in.
