This. As I see it our terrible season has set the takeover in somewhat of a wrong perspective. Things are moving, we all know that, the owners are working on all of the matters that needs sorting... but they are taking their time, as they should!. For me it`s like the old saying goes, "time flys when you are having fun." What`s happning now is the straight opposite. We are not having fun, at all! And everything seems to be moving way slower then they should when in fact things might be right on course.

I asked this before but never really got any response. Does anyone know anything about Roy`s contract, I seem to remember talks of there being some kind of clause in where the new owners (who at the time were not yet found) had an option to get rid of the manager without paying some huge compensation?. The reasononing then was that this would make the club more attractive for potential new buyers. I ask because Roy does have a 3-year (doesn`t he?) deal and as much as I`d like to see him resign I very much doubt that he`s the kind of person who would walk out without making a big fuzz and get a reasonable payoff.

I`m sold! Seriously, reading this article is like reading about a 18th century philosopher. All his ideas seem well and good and the stories of him are interresting and all(with the struggles and that)... Seems to me like he`s the sort that will be hated by others but loved by us OR he`ll immediatly be a mismatch and burn us. I don`t know, seems a bit risky but it might be the a risk worth taking also.

When news broke of Roy getting the job, wasn`t there some talk of a clause in his contract that he could get the boot in some way without having to pay him compensation or something or maybe not having to pay the full compensation? Think this was mentioned back when we were "being sold" to the chinese. Think the argument was that this would make the club more attractive to buyers who wanted to find their own man for the manager role...
