  1. Really like the pair of them. Wanted Clyne since I first saw him at Southampton, I didn't realise he was such an accomplished defender, his final ball is lacking at times but I hope that's something he can improve on with age. He's brilliant one v one, tries to close down the cross unlike his predecessor Glen Johnson, a great tackler and of course ridiculously quick. Moreno's always been a player that I knew would come good, you look at him he has all the tools. He's a more exciting player than Clyne, some of his last ditch tackles and recovery pace have been a sight to behold. He links well with the attacking players and provides genuine width down the left flank.
  2. Bogdan, clyne, toure, lovren, Enrique, Lucas, allen, Can, Ibe, Benteke, Firmino.
  3. What's the story now. Klopp said he was outside training. Does that mean he is in line to return against City? Surely 2 weeks on the training ground is enough time to reintroduce him.
  4. He can't cross or influence a game? Are you joking Henderson is one of the top assisting players in the league in the last 3 years and his link play with the frontman is very impressive . He has an eye for goal 7 last year in an impressive tally and he has it in him to get that into double figures. He also works his bollix off which klopp will love.
  5. Gutted. Benteke had a stinker, although lallana ducking out of the way of ibe's perfect cross was the moment for me, very dissapointed.
  6. Very good and controlled performance, unfortantely our good play wasn't rewarded with goals. Delighted for Ibe, he was outstanding and a brilliant run and finish for his first for the club, not too dissimilar to Sterling's first against Reading. Lovren had a very good game as did Sakho, and Firmino again promising just needs to relax a little more, but a lot to be happy about. I love Klopp, what a bloke.
  7. Please let this happen. This just hits home what a collusol fuck up letting him go was, what the fuck were they thinking. How could you possibly be against it this is Steven Gerrard, we absolutely adore the man and he clearly adores us. Yeah he can't run anymore but fuck me I'd sooner have a 35 year Gerrard come on for the last 30 needing a goal than our 165k utility man James Milner. He deserves a better send off than the 3-1 to palace and that farce at Stoke.
  8. Why fucking not. We could have done it last year had we not pressed self destruct playing without strikers. 3rd should be our minimum target, Utd are shit their attacking options are Europa standard and the lack of depth in those positions is quite remarkable considering their financial outlay. Arsenal and City look strong but both are mentally weak.
  9. Outstanding so far under klopp, such a charismatic guy and player. Can't say I'm surprised he's a very high calibre of player and has shown runs of form similar to this under Rodgers December-January 2013-2014 and January 2015- March 2015, however Brendan seemed not to take wind of this.
  10. He is the quintessential jack of all trades. A very average footballer, elevated by better players around him. He reminds me very much of a Benitez signing, his touch is abysmal. Once Henderson is back he's straight out of the team for me.
  11. Ecstatic with that. Klopp is such a good man i genuinely love him, I'm still in awe of him. Phil Coutinho a marvellous individual, never doubted him, watch him soar now in the next few months. Fair play to all the lads superb, great to see Benteke grab a goal. Really like Firmino seems a great character. Up the fucking reds.
  12. Milner has the worst first touch in the league.
  13. Clyne's a class player.Firmino improving, need to play him close to goal. Should start at the weekend.
  14. Sturridge really needs to get his act together, I love him as a player but those stats are embarrassing, the perception that he is still young is based on the lack of football he's played. Gerrard, Carra and now Klopp have alluded to how he's not willing to risk himself and play through the pain.
  15. Douglas Costa's feet are mesmerising absolute joy to watch.
  16. The save he made on Naismith's header two weeks ago and Njie's at WHL were incredible. Remains a great shot stopper, Reina was embarrassing in his last season, as if migs would have let ramires score at the near post in Wembley.
  17. I'll take it. Offered very little offensively, if Sturridge mans up and takes some responsibility and gets himself onto the pitch we win that game. Clyne and Sakho caught the eye. Credit to Mignolet, some top classes saves in the last 2 games, the one on Naismith in the Derby and Njie today were absolutely sensational.
  18. Milner's a really poor player technically. A disservice to Dirk to compare the two.
  19. Sturridge grow the fuck up man, you're killing us.
  20. Can't fault his technique, his touch has been immaculate and his finishes all impressive. A very good signing hell prove to be.
  21. We don't actually know the exact details or the dynamic of his relationship with his wife. Just because he's not with his wife anymore doesn't mean he's a bad man. When ever he spoke about our club and our fans he did it with charm and the very best intention. He strikes me as a very personable guy and very approachable as a lot of the players in the squad have alluded to. The likes of Downing, Borini and Carroll who all have slated Rodgers, simply weren't good enough and are just scapegoating for their failure at the club, guess what all the fucking fans wanted rid of them too.
  22. I'm talking about the insults and moralising over his personal life, as though they're all angels themselves.
  23. Can't believe how classless a lot of fans are. The treatment and ridicule of Brendan was a fucking joke, we dish it out to other clubs for their behaviour but our fans are no better. Brendan was a good man and gave his absolute best and I'll never forget the feelings of the spring of 2014 and the absolute unity and excitement of the club, it was genuine ecstacy. That slip will forever haunt him and I, oh what could of been. All the best Brendan, I'll certainly be giving you the warmest of receptions whenever you return to anfield.
  24. Always have time for him for that season where we should have one the league. Very sad about how it's turned out, he'll be a very good manager one day, he's creative and brave but the recruitment has cost him his job. Sanchez scoring twice on the day he's sacked seems fitting.
