  1. no they don't have the same agent. Torres' agent is Juan Antonio Martin.
  2. F365's mediawatch said it well about this: he's still a twat, mind.
  3. To put it more accurately, it's like taking your cancer away, and giving the cancer aids at the same time... Me like.
  4. Gypsy Sparke or Gypsy Central Gypsy was an old dog with arthritis. We had to put it down as it bit me when I was 3 years old (admittedly I did jump on it).
  5. A girl in the office has just come back from lunch. We were discussing how good the weather is in London this weekend and she says "I think I got burnt through my trousers at lunch". Bear in mind she's wearing dark trousers and was outside for all of 20 minutes.
  6. Can people please keep posting up the Tony Barrett web chat? My stupid work won't allow the page to run properly!
  7. surely everyone loves tromboning?
  8. oh, and for me. I hate My Name is Earl. Ok, I get it, they're a bunch of rednecks. But Cletus shits all over them though. Brandine: Dang, Cletus, why'd you have to park by my parents? Cletus: Now, honey, they's my parents, too.
  9. My missus doesn't really like Back to the Future. She had a sheltered childhood (I think she grew up in a box) and never saw it until I forced her to a couple of years ago. I blame the parents.
  10. Many Liverpool fans make no apologies for the fact that if a youngster is a Scouser who's come through the club system, they'll be afforded more patience than another kid who's come in for £x million from Argentina/Spain/Africa/France (delete as appropriate). There's a certain pride in having one of your own playing for the club and I think that should be celebrated rather than comments like 'If Insua had done that, he would've been slated'. I think the difference is that yes, the kids from the Academy will make mistakes, but so too do the imports and so when an import comes in and can't cut the mustard, the fans are left thinking that they could've saved time and money by promoting a local lad who's just as good. Plus there's the knowledge that with the local lads, there's no debating whether the kid knows the standing that the club has in the place, as they will have grown up immersed in it. So yeah, if Kelly or whoever isn't good enough, then so be it. But I for one would be willing to try him and have the patience to see whether he can adapt over the medium-longer term, rather than slating him on errors made in his first five appearances at the club.
  11. was going down the lift at work today and standing directly across from me is a bloke with the biggest bulging eyes I've ever seen. Had to look straight at the ground cos I almost pissed myself laughing. I think it's because it was so unexpected to look up and see some bloke staring at you like you've got massive t!ts or something. Gonna have to be on the look out for that bloke around the office from now on...
  12. there are plenty of others, but for now I'll just say: Seth Green

have to agree with the original poster.
  14. so we have no budget so we'll spend 7 mil on an untried youngster. Makes sense.
  15. Great post - can't argue with most of that.
  16. Mickelson's a twat. Pity Westwood couldn't get over the line.
  17. thank God I don't live there. Not for the driving, just for the North Koreans launching missiles across the border...
  18. went to Ireland a couple of weeks ago and had the best salmon of my life. It was in Kenmare (in Kerry) and it was a proper Atlantic salmon caught in Kenmare bay. Tasted amazing and had a great sauce to go along with it.
