The parts of Greece I've been to have been complete shitholes. Admittedly the parts I've been to are the 18-30 type resorts with shit water, sewage, corupt police and basically run by the local mafia. However, I've also been to Athens and that was just like any other cosmopitian city I've been. Just an observation.
