1. Here you go. Your recall is good.
2. Fucking superb, I piss myself every time I see that.
3. "UEFA announce the relaxation of the rules on player registration for this season"
4. I don't like the whole "the mancs have played all their away games against the big 4" argument. Old Toilet aside, you could say the same about us. We've been to Stamford Bridge, the Emirates, the Pit, Villa Park, White Hart Lane, Eastlands. After all of these, we're still top and the only thing that's keeping us from extending a lead at the top is patchy home form. If the Bolton performance heralds the start of some good home form, we'll take some shifting. I'm not saying it'll happen, but I'd rather be in our position than anyone elses.
5. Carra says it best in his book. Whatever system you use, you concede goals at set pieces. However, if you concede one with man marking, one player takes the blame. If the same happens with zonal marking, the system gets the blame. It makes for easy journalism and gives you good soundbites though, so Sky run with it a lot.
6. Your boys took one hell of a drawing with.
7. What's the point of this thread? It's been discussed before.
8. Clint! Last year's fantasy football legend strikes again.
9. Unless I'm mistaken, I think he said before our last game with them that he'd been impressed with us this season and could see us winning the title.
10. That was fast - the laptop and overhead projector must have worked a treat in the interview. I'll bet the mackems are breathing a sigh of relief. Blackburn'll be fine now. Keeping teams up is an Allardyce speciality, and the players are already in place from Hughes' reign.
11. I think I'll travel to the new ground by hovercar, or possibly teleporter.
12. Rafa, I think, sees Lucas as better than he is. He's swapped him "like for like" with Gerrard in the past, and I think he sees him as being a box to box midfielder who could pop up in the box with a goal while still maintaining possession in midfield. Unfortunately, he isn't good enough to do that. He'd have been better off gambling with Keane.
13. "They're all against me. This is ridiculous. Etc, etc." BBC SPORT | Football | My Club | Man Utd | Man Utd demand FA Evra transcript Stop moaning you drunken old fucker. He smacked a member of groundstaff in the face. Regardless of provocation, I'd say this is worthy of being labelled "improper conduct" - and you'd think he'd know all about the definition of that. So stop moaning about this punishment, stop demanding that your pets in Soho square make an about face on this and fuck off back to your pikey cider you massive cunt. I'd also love to know which sycophants have called the old bastard to listen to him mumble about it. I really don't get the uproar about it. It's not like he's going to miss any massive games: he'll be back again for the visit of Chelsea.
14. I could be completely wrong, but maybe N'Gog was signed to take Nemeth's place in the ressies with Nemeth being promoted to the fringes of the first team? Hard to tell due to his injuries this season.

Insua

"Damning with faint praise" to praise something or someone in such a weak way that it is obvious you do not really admire them "Well done, you've made it into Garth Crooks' team of the week*" *I thought Insua was very good, I'm not having a pop.
16. Brawling with fucking groundstaff, but a standard red card ban + 1 is excessive? I await their statement on Mascherano's ban.
17. So we're not discussing player contracts before Rafa's is sorted, and AC Milan say they're not in for any players in January. Fuck me, where do I sign to be a journo?
18. When Abramovich bought Chelsea there was only a big 2 really. We were a joke by that point, only signing players represented by that agent who's name has escaped me while sitting on the bus. Arsenal were crippled with debt after starting work on the Emirates stadium. Only manure could afford big fees and wages: outbid them and they could overhaul them. No such luxury for City. Manure are the superpower they always were, Chelsea are established spenders and challengers, Arsenal allegedly have clout and while we're without the proverbial pot to piss in, on the field we're pretty stable. For a player to sign for City, they'd have to turn down CL football from any European team as well as all the big 4. They can make filthy money from any big European team, but make a bit more still from City. What kind of player will do that? The wrong type, in my opinion. It'll happen eventually, but qualification for the Holy Grail and getting your hands on top players is harder than it was in Roman's day. There's more competition now.

Scolari

Not that I care, but it was a shite decision. Van Persie looked to be acting a twat to Lampard which is funny, but if he did it to one of our players I'd want them to lamp the fucking little no mark.
