Some parts in that book really make you sit there and think, "fuck me, I knew that, but it has taken up until now to actually realise it and take it on board." That is what it takes for some people. I have no will power and have tried 5 times previously to give up, so some kudos must go to the book for making me stop.

I read it 2 1/2 years ago and haven't smoked since. It doesn't patronise you as every knows how bad smoking actually is for you. If memory serves me, it goes on about using the cancer sticks as a crutch to get you through things. When my dad died about 4 months into no fags, I knew I could get through anything without them. Still fancy one every now and again, but won't smoke one ever. Good luck to all that give it a whirl.

Will get Pegasus Bridge for the beach when I go on my holiday. I don't think anyone could really put into words how superb this series was, simply one of the best done ever. The casting was superb, and like RJ said, David Schwimmer could've easily ruined it, but even he was pretty convincing. Made me dislike the prick anyway:laugh: Best £20 you'll ever spend.
