  1. Can everyone please stop mentioning code, his negs. or his post in the other thread, otherwise this will end up going the same way. Regardless of your opinion of Rafa as a manager, yesterday showed a strong man letting his defences down and showing emotion that most of us feel, but dont always let out. For me showed that he he really does care / get us, and was a very touching moment for me on a very sad day.
  2. Wouldn't the full payout only be paid if he hadn't picked up another job? I thought his contract would only have to be fully paid up if he wasn't at another club. Regardless it was a foolish contract to give someone who, it seemed, was only really ever going to be a stop gap.
  3. Glyphs were a really good challenge - their locations are all at this link, but there are spoilers for the puzzles as well so try to avoid them Assassin's Creed II – Glyphs and statuettes guide | GamesRadar I found about 30 feathers whilst playing, but havent got around to getting them all, but this seems quite accurate from what I remember. 4. If this policy change was really about getting those who prosper from their degrees to pay their share, wouldnt it be just as easy to raise the payback threshold to say £30-35k, about 80% of the national average wage as it used to be? I work in education, and speak to very able students, from a deprived area of liverpool, daily about their aspirations, the idea of upto £30k worths of debt when finishing a degree is definitely enough to put them off going. So whatever the rationale behind the policy, the end result will be those from poorer backgrounds will have less opportunities than those from more affluent - and that is wrong whatever way you look at it. As for the lib dems, I've lost any repect I had for them by pandering to the tories agenda. Fuck the coalition, surely as elected members of their respective towns and cities, they should be representing the views of those that voted for them, not worrying about loosing their foothold in government. If they had done that and voted against the policy, as they would have claimed to have done pre-election, they would have certainly had gone up in my estimation, and surely many others. If the coalition had then failed they'd probably have picked up a larger percentage in the next election, as they'd have been showing they were good for their word, and not just there to make up the numbers.
  5. Months since I played this, but pretty sure you buy the maps, and they show up on them.
  6. SD - do you not think many of the poorest students are gonna be put off the thought of university totally with these increases? 18 yr old going to uni knowing that they could have £27k debt after three years study to get a degree, which will still not guarentee them a job? Oh, and the not having to pay it until they earn whatever, doesnt really wash either as that debt will be taken into account when they apply for loans, mortgages etc....
  7. Not sure how you managed that as there are only 65536. Pick any cell in sheet and hold ctrl + down arrow - takes you to the bottom row
  8. Not if someone really wanted your info, I've found videos when researching for work, were someone using free wireless in cafe was demonstrating how they could look at someone elses private pictures from their laptop. However, I'd guess maybe a camp site is generally not a hot bed for hacking and computer fraud, so as long as you had your own firewall active you'd have been OK. In reality if someone with the right skill set reallly wants access to your stuff they'll get it, if you let it scare you you'd never do anything online.
  9. Cologne - went there with the lads a few years ago - fuckin boss - we even managed to pick up a 4star hotel for next to nothing. Think we paid 160 for flights and 2 nights, that was in May though so might be a bit more now in season
  10. Simon just PM'd you the phone number of a lad I know that does airport runs. Think he's got at least one minibus and might be able to help ya
  11. Think there is far too much emphasis on formations here. Its the personel, tactics and the mindset of the players that dictate whether an formation is attacking or defensive. As Zig said, the formation has to be fluid anyway, otherwise as a team you are far too predictable, and you suffer when key roles within the formation are off form. Roy obviously knows his stuff, but its the ability to refine this to restrict the oppositions strengths and take advantages of their weakness, as well as making the most of your own strengths, that we havent seen him have the opportunity to do at the highest level yet. For him as a manager / coach / tactician I'm sure the next 12 months will be the biggest of his career, as he has to manage / massage the personalities as well as coping with the expectations of managing Liverpool. Thats the sort of thing you cant demonstrate on a whiteboard, and why perosonally I have some reservations.
  12. Got a friend who is a GP and she was telling us a few weeks ago that its actually an infection, like a fungus.
  13. Just wondering, if this potential appointment of Hodgson is splitting the fans so much, then in 6 months time will it be for the best if he goes, you know so that the fans can be in harmony again?
  14. Went through this myself, as did a load of my mates at the same company. You take all your terms and conditions as Lurtzy says, put there is a time limit on (2 yrs I think) after than they can alter your contract to be closer to their own terms. As for your own job it depends, if you transfer before being TUPEd you'd keep your role initially, but there is generally nothing to stop them deciding your role isnt required at some point (unless there is some protection included in their transfer contract that stops them making redundancies initially). When we went through it, they TUPEd us across, then restructured the entire organisation, making some of our roles redundant, at which point we had to choose between redundancy or applying for jobs that we didnt really want. Sorry, I know this won't exactly reassure you.
  15. Just make sure your display settings on PS3 match your TV. I had this problem on bedroom telly, as it is only 720, but PS3 had defaulted to playing in full HD. Once I configured it properly problem went away
  16. Think so, but regardless of the fact he failed, if we had money to spend on a player surely we needed a left back (with Risse going) instead of another forward at the time (with Dirk, Torres, and Crouch - we got Voronin on a free for 4th forward), and wasnt Reira a year later? Also the mancs can afford to spunk £8m on a loan fee, with no sell on value which we couldnt / cant.
  17. Probably, but instead of Torres? All that talk that summer was one or the other, as we were keeping Crouch
  18. I was just trying to say that its not always a simple choice. I'd rather Everton finished above us in our worst final position for 16 years, than the mancs get the title. No matter what they say, they couldnt take real satisfaction from their own performance finishing above us if we fell that low. And I doubt any of them would be saying anything worse than our own fans do about our performances / position. And theoretically, I was giving you a similar choice, we know your position on Rafa - would you accept finishing below Everton for him to go - local bragging rights v's your beliefs on whats best for the club?
  19. Paul, dont miss out on the other free task- its another tomb to raid in Montenegro(sp?). Register with Ubisoft, and by completing certain aspects of the game you get uplay credits which you can use to open up this extra mission
  20. Odris, you dont have to, just one of the many side missions. I did it and you get better armour and sword for doing it, but its not needed. And Frank, its by far the biggest of the cities, and can take quite a while if you complete all side missions
  21. See your point Zig, but we certainly wouldnt have got that 10 million back last summer, and there were no guarantees that the premier league would act they way they have. In the meantime, if Portsmouth had folded, which they nearly did, we'd have got nothing back. In the meantime Bob was off to Real, we needed a replacement right back, so I think it was prudent to take Johnson, but I dont think we would have paid £17m for him without the circumstances being as they were. So I think its only fair to take this into account when assessing his cost.
  22. The white version is the standard game. The black version was limited edition with access to an additional downloadable memory / mission. I would recommend the original as it is part of a trilogy (and its in the platinum cheap range now), but its more repetitive mission wise, and doesnt have as much depth story wise, although has a similar look and feel, so you may still enjoy it - especially as you can pick it up for a tenner. 23. Very childish in looks but easy to use: IncrediMail - Have Fun Sending Email!
