Blackberry 9700 trouble

I have a sudden issue with the wi-fi connection on my 9700.

I have set up my handset to link to my router and for that to be the default browser. I have saved a few sites/forums (youtube etc.) as bookmarks.

Everything was working fine up until about an hour ago (I haven't clue what I could have done to set this off!) when my internet connection via my phone suddenly decided to stop playing ball.

As of now, although I can view my bookmarked pages and the initial page of any address I type - any attempt to progress beyond that page via login attempt/search into a search bar/progression into a forum from a homepage etc. - there is just no response from the handset, no bar at the bottom of the screen, nothing. (Wifi icon is also white)

It's not my router that is at fault, as I'm typing this post from my PC. Has anybody else had anything similar to this?
