Bloody hell, there's some real nonsense in this thread isnt there? Do people seriously think the players stroll about until they conceed a goal? Once they've conceeded, do you think the players would play at the same tempo or up the game in search of an equaliser?

 

Put another way, if we played at this 'magical goal behind in search of an equaliser pace' from the off, how far into the 90 minutes do you think it would be before the team ran out of steam and conceeded late goals?

 

Then everyone would be moaning the players didnt pace themselves for the entire game. Honestly, the players just cant win with some of you lot.
