Saw Schindler’s List for the first time last night. Ralph Fiennes is great in that. In fact he is in most things I’ve seen him in. Seriously fucking good actor.

Just binge watched the first series of the White Lotus over the last few days. Very good. Slightly disappointed with the ending but I’m looking forward to the next series now. Very funny as well. Top notch fanny. Another quality HBO production.

Barbarian - 8/10. Boss little horror film on Disney+. I won’t go into too much detail but it starts off with two people double booked into an airbnb having to spend the night together. Really enjoyable film. Horror stalwart Justin Long appears in the second half of the film.

I don’t really care who wins it now that Uruguay are out. Don’t want England to win it though. That would be unbearable.

The Burning. Classic early 80s slasher featuring a summer camp and a caretaker who is horrifically burned in a prank gone wrong. He comes back years later to terrorise a new group of horny teenagers at summer camp with a set of garden shears! Does exactly what it says on the tin. I’ll give it 8/10 but I’m probably being a bit generous due to the nostalgia of watching this as a kid.

I don’t know how old you are but Maradona is the greatest player I’ve ever seen. He also won Argentina a World Cup which is something Messi hasn’t managed yet.

Watched a documentary about the Zebrugge ferry disaster on CH5 last night. Incomprehensible something happening like that in this day and age. Someone fell asleep and forgot to close the doors. In them days the boats didn’t even have the technology to alert someone this had happened. All down to corporate mingebags trying to maximise their profits as well as human error. A fascinating insight into what happened. Heartbreaking as well listening to the survivors accounts of what happened on the night.

I had a pair of the Nike Tiempo with the gold swoosh. As endorsed by Rushie. I think Puma Kings are the best though. Any colour other than black can go in the bin.
