    Smart motorways. Oh yeah, its really smart having an unfinished stretch of road at motorway speed with yer arse getting pummelled by banding and weird tarmacky lines. Most motorists are clueless as to how they work and add to that 2 lanes of traffic joining the motorway at every 3 miles with no hard shoulder. A classic example of 'if it isn't broke, don't fix it'.

    I'm amazed he is still in the job. Imagine if he worked in the real world with staff that dislike him, low morale, KPI's that no-one is interested in achieving but still having the balls to fake how good he thinks he is. Any CEO with half a brain would've fired him long ago. It's not a question of the right person isn't available at the moment because lets face it, he is utterly useless. It surely cant be the cost of compensation for ripping up his contract now? it is amazingly bemusing. God bless them for providing yet another comedy season.

    Performance review tomorrow after 3 months in. MD told me today not to worry about it too much, doing fine., its just crossing the T's etc. He also let slip that he likes my approach to clients of being honest and straight whereas my younger colleagues that manage projects are fresh out of Uni, hungry for success and are rather cut-throat and too serious when they talk to clients. So, here i am sat filling out this feckin review form and i just want to go all out Big Keith.
