  1. Ayew, and Gabon's keeper, give Ghana the lead.
  2. John Ritter was pretty good on "Three's Company".
  3. This is what the US CDC has to say: So you can still test positive, but not be infectious.
  4. It could, but, off the top of my head, probably not. It would depend first on what the statutes of limitations in the various jurisdictions said about allowing charges to be laid. A quick look says 20 years in New York, so this case might be just outside the limit. Don't know about the VI or the UK. Wrong, all wrong. No SoL on forcible rape. So it could, theoretically, lead to criminal charges. And SoL issues aside, you'd have to convince a prosecutor that there was enough evidence to press charges. But I definitely stand to be corrected on all of the above.
  5. She's alleging that he forced her to have sex. I assume it's based on tort (tort, not tart) law. https://www.reuters.com/world/uk/what-we-know-about-virginia-giuffres-lawsuit-against-britains-prince-andrew-2022-01-04/ A civil case, decided on a balance of probabilities, and if he's found liable, he'll be ordered to pay damages.
  6. Keaton in "The General". The Three Stooges, particularly Curly. Peter Sellers in "The Pink Panther" movies.
  7. "Making change, behind the counter, in a penny arcade, sat the fat girl daughter, of Virginia and Ray: Lydia." "Donald and Lydia" John Prine
  8. It really is a good deal. Particularly the ability to watch the matches on demand for that few days. I've watched a lot of football in the past year.
  9. My DAZN subscription runs out soon. $20 CAD/month or $150/year (11.5/90 pounds). Don't know whether to sign up for another year or not, as their contract to show the Prem ends this May. But if they buy BT, presumably that would put them in pole position to get the Canadian rights as well. But if they don't I'll've spent $90 to watch women's CL football and snooker (and I haven't watched the snooker since Bill Werbeniuk died). Fuck it, I'll go monthly to the end of the CL season, cancel, then rebuy for a year in August if they do get the Prem. The subscription isn't bad: all the Prem matches and most if not all the CL matches; quality is okay, and they allow you to watch the matches on demand for a few days after.
  10. Rush home to watch a match that's already over. Fuck you Spurs. New manager bounce well and truly over. West Ham/Norwich it is then.
  11. His writing reminds me of those Everton wierdos on GOT.
  12. I'd love to know what the budget was for the entire thing. Not often you get to watch a show that not only doesn't repeat itself, but broadens it's scope, and gets better.
  13. Reading the vegetarian thread, I was wondering about the ethical implications of that, religious proscriptions, etc. I see the BBC has got there ahead of me. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-59951264
