  1. "you have two teams who have been not failures" What annoys me about Arsey is the quantifying word of a verb always being said before said verb. He does it with adjectives too. It's a disgrace.
  2. Yep it was a great interview. How about publishing the also excellent earlier interview that you did, which I found one of the most memorable I have ever read. He slagged of 'Lawro,' revealed players talked about how shit the atmosphere was, how him and Owen had discussed why fans didn't take to him quite a bit, and how Gary Neville 'wasn't his favourite person.'
  3. Is Moyes with Giggs as assistant too much to hope for?
  4. I also want one for QPR and for Everton, please pm me ta.
  5. If we withdraw from the Premier League we could make shit loads in Dubai. Then we can use the money to for Ashley Williams and compete for top 4. Oh no hang on... On the other hand, the wafer is no more than an inter toto cup these days, lets be honest so I think we should move with the times and accept that it's a hindrance, the prem and the cl are what we care about, and we need to get back in it.
  6. History has been re written to read that Benitez team was doing fantastically well and the reason he left was a disagreement with the owners, who he had the balls to stand up to as they were ruining the club. Now they are gone he should return. In the later years the team was appalling and couldn't scrape a decent run together, the signings went from bad to worse an the morale and man management n the squad was irreparable. Benitez, far from walking out on the owners who saddled the club with a toxic debt, signed a lucrative new contract on the condition he had absolute power in transfers.
  7. Can we qualify for Europa if we finish 7th?
  8. Mercenary prima donna aged nearly 27 on £75000 a week, not quite the profile we want, so they say, and rightly so.
  9. He should be executed in Soho square in an event mc'd by Sir David Davies. Clarke Carlisle and Piara Power would each say a few words, and PM Cameron can take some time out for the Syrian genocide crises, the domestic economy like cutting disability funding and other trivial stuff and say how first and foremost he is a Dad and that's why he thinks this is the only answer. Human rights groups would be slapped away with the fact that Mr Suarez was found guilty by some blokes somewhere and that would appease them. But then in a dramatic twist Kenny Dalglish would arrive by parachute and order Piara Power's head on the block, the protesting and confused Carlisle is next and finally it is Cameron's turn to be beheaded. A helicopter arrives and takes them both off into the sunset.
  10. you after a ticket? is this where i join the queue cos I need one, I am prepared to sell myself.
  11. 50 mil is not enough to get into the top 4 but too much to give to someone experienced, yet Lambert would have done a better job? so the solution, give 25 million to Lambert and tell him how he can spend it.?Because he played in France and stuff. you fucking imbeciles, do you see where Villa are? Paul fucking Lambert?Haaaha total jokers. I am dismayed.
  12. I hope we move forward. I think we will because Brendan often starts sentences with words like 'moving forward,' and that gives me great confidence that we will. Although I don't know exactly where we are moving to, forward is good generally, but we will need to move left or right sometimes to for practical reasons, like something being in the way. Combined with a 'great group of players' that has to bode well. A great group of players moving forward is fine by me. Oh yes, none of these bad groups moving backwards at this club, or mediocre groups moving diagonal no way Jose. Ideally not being able to ask for any more in terms of effort too, with occasional absolutely fantasticness but he needs time.
  13. Is that a quote from The Dalai Lama?
  14. Well he was excellent, I was a bit concerned and a little confused with this benching over the last few games. I know he was shit as Southampton but he wasn't the only one, and returning from injury. I wondered in the first half with him not playing about his attitude, or ability to link up, but his link up play was superb, he may be one of those payers who needs a constant kick up the arse.
  15. at the end of the day what is worse blah blah, somebody mistiming a tackle on purpose maybe, or someone intentionally taking a bit out of someones arm, it was the national front, our poor little luis, it'sa disgwace how the media portray footballer in the north etc et fucking cetra, NO, it was horrible it was mental and biting somebody is massively unhinged and a complete disgrace. it wasny anyone elses fault. and while i am here, quoting a post and saying noting but 'this' at the end of it is fucking cringeworthy. HOWEVER we should keep him.
  16. i'm not sorted, i am after 1 but 2 even better, pls pm me
  17. It is far too simplistic to compare this season with the last as Dalglish had been in the job 9 months prior to last season starting and so had much more time to lay the groundwork. Combined with the Carroll, Adam, Henderson, Downing policy of refusing to pay any less than twice the market value for players he couldn't get to perform for him and I think for Rodgers to get an increased points tally and make encouraging signings to go alongside getting the best out of said guff is a fairly decent, solid if unspectacular start.
