    apparently he was homesick. it could actually be that Liverpool got this one right , in that he didn't progress at Fulham either so we got 150K from it. Fulham got nothing. He looked a class act when he first arrived.

    i think we dodged a bullet, carlton cole is not good enough. we may end up having to play babel up front at some stage, maybe he'll make a go of it....it's more hope than expectation at this stage
