  1. I think the knicks have taken too many knocks to be a credible finalist. Celtics should make the final. See them losing to Denver or Minny, Dallas would be close if Luka is firing and Celtics would probably beat the Thunder.
  2. Every time I click on forums on mobile I get this view, rather than the four main forums all appearing. What have I fat-fingered and how do I fix it? Any ideas?
  3. All audio from every game should be available, at least to clubs. VARs should be dedicated staff. Actual video reviews should have live audio, or a statement of the decision (even if the ref ends up saying it's a close subjective call so retaining the original decision). Give reasoning, based on the actual laws. What is dangerous, not just high foot = bad. Allow refs to apply discretion regarding yellow/red cards, with explanations of mitigation provided (even if after the game). Turn offside reviews into a challenge system. Don't have studio refs trying to second guess decisions with nonsense reasoning. Referees should be able to request assistance in some circumstances without the sense that they are admitting fault. Any player or coach talking to a ref during a review at the screen should be automatically booked. And bring back indirect free kicks for handball. Jackson's handball against us was most likely accidental, but it cost us and there was no way of rectifying the situation (saying hands up or throwing yourself in front of a shot can never be accidental, but the deflected onto hand rule should remain). If it's staying as it is, get rid.
  4. I'd rather get rid of Webb, the standards have plummeted since he took over. Plus the whole moonlighting thing, which is still inexcusable.
  5. Despite the first paragraph it really just sounds like 777 taking out a loan to cover the £100m they need to guarantee. Not promising considering they've been lending them money to stay afloat all season...
  6. What is this article saying, other than being a novelisation of the defence?
  7. To be fair, biden's views on people having the right to not be assaulted don't even extend to his dog, so maybe also not the best of executives.
  8. I feel the tears of my ancestors...
  9. Yeah, looks like that was in response to an executive order by trump which stated the opposite. Quite the political football, still looking for any evidence backing the removal of freedoms.
  10. What is the law? I know title 9 has been batted back and forth by trump and biden, with no evidence base behind it other than rhetoric, but that's sports, not bathrooms as I understand it. I have not seen reference to a federal law covering this. Ah no, looks like it probably if title ix. So Trump removed a protection and biden put it back and now states are taking them away again. Not sure why there would be a burden on biden there.
  11. Does reeves provide any data to quantify how dangerous the "agenda" is? Since they are looking to introduce this legislation now, I assume the status quo is that trans people can select the bathroom they use. Therefore, there must be a clear statistical need for the change, right? Right?
  12. I was happy to see Kenny win the league, doubly so because it wasn't Utd, but I never wanted us to not play. It's gutless to me, a lack of integrity that just sums up why spurs are such perennial losers. Those cunts winning should be fuel to whatever it is we need to do to get better.
  13. I think this season has been a threshold moment for both Elliot and Jones. Both have shown that they are capable of not just being good, but among the best in the league, but neither have been able to impose themselves at times as well. They are the 70-80 point side good, CL quarter final exit good, they need to look at that honestly and figure out what work they need to do to keep improving. We have two enormous talents here, still growing. Same goes for Trent, really.
  14. I think the holte end has had a reputation for a long time, but the rest of the ground more than makes up for it. The end to the right of the aways is always an absolute mess. Constant smalltime abuse, fighting each other. Seen the lot there and only been twice. Walking up past the pub to the ground is a proper old school feeling. When you get in you realise what a patchwork shit heap the ground actually is.
  15. Last season we ended with 67 points, this season we'll hopefully break 80, despite a terrible injury crisis and one of the worst collective goal droughts I've seen. It's not bad. The pressure was ramped up by Klopp leaving, but I don't think we should be throwing the baby out with the bathwater. I'm more pissed off about the Europa than the league as it was a miracle we were even in the running. We should have finished the set though, those Atalanta games were awful. New dawn, we have a lot of talent and ability in this squad, maybe the kick up the arse they need. Tough for the new manager, concerned about the social media nonsense if they struggle early.
  16. It's a weird one as all of the top three have rotated through injury a fair bit and Martinez is a cunt. Who's he going to pick, Onana? I'd have picked the spurs lad, even if he dipped in the second half. Lloris was big shoes to fill. I'm lying, I'd have picked kelleher.
  17. I just think he's the latest to reach a point of exhaustion. Badly needs a rest. He has these mistakes in him, much more so when fatigued. Great that the copa America awaits this summer...
  18. It's Liverpool, we're looking to win matches, then trophies. I just think it's madness how much we play out football around our own area, we should be overloading their box, not ours...
