  1. Take it over and employ him as a minority stakeholder. He tried to fuck you first and payback's a bitch.
  2. Until we get some proper forwards in, it's a bit early to judge. Our front 3 is way too blunt. Yes, Suarez has bagged a few but his shooting is woeful and he should have had at least another 4 goals. We need a forward like Torres (in his pomp), Owen or Fowler who would just get you a goal out of the one half chance they got during a match
  3. Yeah, Numbers is ace and should join in the debate more. As for Anfield Wrap, it's always a good listen
  4. Choosing Antonio Nunez out of the whole Real Madrid squad
  5. No, I'm not defending Chang who has brought the club into disrepute. However, by exposing it in the manner he has, Cummins is the one who has caused the public shitstorm. If you're looking for analogies, it's like selling your story to the paper before going to the police.
  6. Chang was out of order for the threats. However Cummins has acted like a bellend and totally exposed and undermined the club. If he wanted reciprocal action against Chang, he should have reported his complaint to Ayre with the threat of going to the press to make him take notice.
  7. 1. don't miss the deadline for objecting as you've no comeback after that 2. Your objection must be about the likely effect of granting the licence on the licensing objectives (see that link above for what they are). Give realistic examples of what is likely to arise and explain your reasons. Bear in mind that operating conditions and restrictions can be imposed, so if you want the licence refusing completely, you will need to be able to demonstrate why no lesser step would suffice. 3. Check your council's licensing policy (for Licensing Act 2003) to see if there are any specific policies relating to off licences or that may be relevant. Refer to these in your objection. 4. as said above, get a petition together, or even better, everyone else to submit their own objections. Also, see if your local councillor will support your objections. Higher numbers will be more persuasive. 5. Attend the hearing to actually present your objection to the committee deciding the application. If you can't attend, try and get someone to represent you (your councillor could also do this for you)
  8. 'triad and tested methods' Hahahaa. That's fucking genius
  9. So it is better to get Europa League experience than it is to finish in the top 4? It really isn't. Also, I would suggest the manager doesn't agree with you given the team he fielded.
  10. Some movie called Hate Crimes. Pretty grim cheap flick about a neo-nazi gang who do a home invasion on the new Jewish family in the neighbourhood. Not for the faint hearted but let down by some ropey acting. 4.5/10
  11. Brilliant event. Rose was fantastic flipping that game on its head. My favourite moment though was when the American tosser (can't remember his name) was running along to celebrate his putt only for it to lip out again. I was laughing my head off at that. The beauty of the Ryder Cup is that one player pulls off a superb 'Fuck You' shot and be all smug, only for the opponent to retort with an even better 'NO! FUCK YOU' shot to win the hole.
  12. Dredd. A good 7.5. Really enjoyed it but the main villain was a proper let down at the end. Might as well not even bothered with that bit. The beauty of the film for me was that it wasn't all about the bigger picture of Dredd, the world, his life etc. instead, it's just about one event he has to deal with and so you just get straight into it.
  13. Typical cocky little upstart. He'd never say any of this to anyone's face.
  14. I found exactly the same. It seemed to happen quite quickly though. Within the space of months, I went from enjoying the show to barely being able to listen. His background team just seemed to crave the spotlight.
  15. The thing with Apple is that they have winning formulas in the iPhone and iPad, which for now they probably see no sense in changing. They're both market leading products and so incremental improvents are all it needs whilst the rest catch up. It's only very recently that Google have got their interface sorted with Project Butter but even still lag behind in apps, which is a major aspect. That said, I'm disappointed with the iPhone 5 and they should have changed the style so that it simply doesn't resemble an elongated 4/4S.
  16. Only clicked on the second link and It's not all the fans to be fair. Just a moronic minority and every club has those.
  17. Let's hope none of them start pulling in different directions. That would be complicated.
  18. What they want is a rich Sheikh who'll bankroll us to the title. For me, I think it's a joke that FSG have to more heavily backed their choice of new manager in his first window in order to get the team up and running. It was their fuck up and responsibility for what went on and how much was spent/wasted before. Ok, they're learning the hard way but, tough. There's no time to lick wounds and regroup when you're trying to catch up and compete with teams like Man City, Chelsea etc. I think this season is already a write-off. I think FSG have their hearts in the right place and I think Rodgers can come good, but they seem intent on making it as difficult as possible.
  19. Just watched that. I think he's my new hero. He's the kinda guy who you just wouldn't ever argue with! Gonna give them a go next time Cheers
  20. For all you know, it might have been a gift from his family or a friend. As for the meditation training, alternative stuff like that will get tried out all the time. Giggs goes to yoga and credits it with prolonging his career. To claim meditation is akin to Eileen Drewery's spiritual healing is nonsense. The fact is there are plenty of alternative therapies that can have some benefit and if a player finds one that can help improve performance by any margin, then it's a success.
