I'm still struggling with my initial thoughts from when I initially entered this thread. How the fuck a player and/or an agent can look at Barcelona right now, all of the shit with them not paying wages etc. and actually want to sign for them is beyond me. They aren't honouring contracts and now are trying to say contracts are illegal. If there was any actual honour or decency in football, every club in the world should refuse to sell anyone to them as you have zero gaurantees or anything. Likewise, any player who willingly signs for them at the moment deserves zero sympathy if they've witnessed all of this shit and still thought it was a good idea to sign for them.

I struggle to see anyway in which all of this stuff isn't a bad idea financially unless the super league thing comes off. Unless the deals they've made for the TV rights specify a fixed number based on the current deal rather than a general percentage then they need over 33% increase in tv rights just to get back to their current TV income. Even if their theory of better players = win things = more money that's a huge amount of increase required just to maintain their current position. And their current position is a complete fucking mess. "We're in trouble because we've been spending too much money on wages and transfers, let's sell our future tv revenue so we can continue spending too much money on wages and transfers but have less money coming in"

Probably not looking younger than them as the years self medication, depression and neglect have probably caught up with me.
