Got to be honest the audi TT is a decent all round sports coupe package. I take it your going for the latest genaration of TT. The latest has much improved handelling than the old model, but still is lacking a little. But to be honest audis are normally very safe to drive , but in terms of driver feedback and 'fun to drive' factor their are much better cars in this regard. For 25k You can get a very nice 3-4 year old Porche Cayman S. It wipes the floor with the TT in every department. For pure driveability and fun at the sacrafice of luxurys , you should consider the Lotus Elise (the best handelling / Feedback car I have ever driven), which also do 40 mpg due to their lightweight. If you want more practicality check out BMW 3 Sieries coupe. Great to drive and practical.
