  1. Yes ..much better idea. In fact we should be able to choose our own 'celeb' team, I'd go for this one ... Lionel Blair Ricky Gervais Dot Cotton Warwick Davies Stephen Merchant Roy Cropper Stan Boardman Stephen Hawking Paul Daniels Moira Stewart Rick Waller Beat that!
  2. Diego Costa. He looks more like The Hulk than Hulk. And sod all like a footballer. Swarthy, scruffy looking knobhead.
  3. Gotta agree with this. Alice bands, fine, even a 'Steve Foster' headband can look ok on the right bloke. But Pony Tails? Never. Get it off ya big girls blouse!
  4. Yes, I'm still around! I have all the FF stuff on DVD, so, just drop a fiver into my paypal account, and send me your address (PM) and I'll stick the 3/4 DVD's in a jiffy and send em out. Be warned though - as someone else has already moaned about - don't expect pristine HD quality. They were ripped from old VHS tapes and on larger Tellys the picture can seem a bit blocky. Bloody funny though. :D
  5. Forgetting someone there lad? I can only assume you work for the taxman's union or something.
  6. Yeah, great tune that. Anyone remember "Channon's going home in a combine harvester"? Or am I too damned old. :(
  7. Good taste man! I'd recommend 'Born In The UK'. It's Damon Gough's (always on the cards) homage to Springsteen, and 'Walk You Home Tonight' - a single from this album about hearing of the death of an old girlfriend - is simply one of the most beautiful tracks I've ever heard. Lovely stuff! Badly Drawn Boy - Walk You Home Tonight - YouTube
  8. Anyone notice that he runs like a player from FIFA 11? Even when he's running fast, he appears to be going in slow motion.
  9. Yes, 'pure luck' that he's not has anyones eye out yet, throwing himself around like that.:lol:
  10. It was nowhere near it mate. Just a case of a big daft defender hurling his bulk into the air and getting lucky with a toe bunger. He'll never score another one like it in his life. Crouche's was goal of the season, easily.
  11. Agree with that. Bhatia conducted himself at a level leagues aboue Paladini, a great example being when, despite the team starting to win a few games, Palladini was ready to sit in the stand slagging off the players as "idiots and morons" when Bhatoi leaned across and advised him that it was a shit idea and he should start being positive. At one point, QPR were 6 points clear, and because they drew a game, Paladini was kicking the chairs in the stand and shouting "WHAT AN IDIOT, THAT F-ING COACH' ... Bloody compulsive viewing though, and a real eye opener to what is probably going on over at Chelski.
  12. Ah yes that's the secret. He'd be shite without the 'grow bags', etc. :whatever:
  13. Any c**t with a ponytail. Yes, even wor Andy. :telloff: Looks shite lads, sort it out.
  14. .... In this week's Corrie. Gonna be a right blub-a-thon. Poor Chesney. :(
  15. Get over it. It's just a footy show with added comments! I've watched MOTD for years. It has its up and downs, but the only time it was really shite was during its ITV period. 'The Premiership' or whatever it was called. I started watching MOTD as a 9 year old, sat with my dad, a can of coke and a bag of crisps. A simple pleasure that's endured. It's a british institution, and Sat nights wouldn't be the same without it. Agree with the news results gripe though, it is indeed Russian roulette turning the telly on anywhere near the start of MOTD You can can almost guarantee that when you do it, the bloody scores will be glaring you in the face. :telloff:
  16. Not having that slipping by without applause. Superb.
  17. Shot yourself in your drunken foot here mate. Kean's actual words were more along the lines of .. "around 200 or so people were protesting, so that's 1% of todays crowd". As the attendance was circa 20k, then his figures are fine.
  18. I loved it too. In fact I've got all of the series including the WC and Euro championships series - on DVDs. Anyone wants any of it (post cost only) just drop me a line. Amongst my favs was the struggling Turkish commentator .... "And now it's STEVE MAC A MAC AMANAC MAM"
  19. .... Anyone notice that in all these 'riots for justice' the first places to be looted are the mobile phone and sportswear shops? Scum. Get the army in . :telloff:
  20. Love Billy, met him at a few festivals over the years. 'Levi Stubb's Tears' is an all time classic. Anyway, being into all this stuff, I've taken music from the video, and made it into an MP3. You can download it here ..... Download Never Buy The Sun.mp3 from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way
  21. Dailymotion - Cristiano Ronaldo gave a t-shirt fans for broken nose - a Sports & Extreme video Ooops! But nice PA move in the end. :-)
