  2. I fucking love Pepe. You can see all the Spanish players just laughing their tits off at him.
  3. I don't know how to post it, but Reina doing Camarero always brings a smile to my face.
  4. Correct. Without Bennyoun for the last 12 months we'd be in a worse porition than we are now. You only need to hear Gerrard talk about him to realise how good he is. To bring him up as needing to be replaced is disgwaceful. He's not a 'fashionable' player, but if he was Brazillian and you saw him play for someone else you'd be raving about him. He deserves a bit of credit for the way he's performed and the profesionalism he's shown.
  5. I'm pretty sure they can't. It wasn't a great move committing to print your threat though.
  6. You're bulletproof. If there was a law against headhunting it would never go on. The only thing I can think may be a problem is if there was some clause in the contract you had when you supplied the staff previously, although that was of course with a different company. In fact, as it's a new company it's possible your staff may have been TUPE'd over, which means they may have to take over the obligations of the contract. *The above is a lot of thinking out loud and may be complete bollocks. I'll give you an answer tomorrow.
  7. On a serious note, no matter how shit it is, she needs to take the job. Jobs like that are hard to come by so she needs to grab it. I spent 2 years in an absolute shithole in my first job as it was a means to an end. Just work it out the living arrangements between you the best you can. I reckon it's always easier to get a job when you've already got one. Worst case scenario just treat it as a CV building exercise. Even if it's as shit as it sounds, Monday to Friday graft, then spend your weekends in Oxford/London/back home/ wherever.
  8. Right fellas, assistance required. Just got this and downloading it via Steam = 3 hours. Whilst that's going on in the background is there any harm in me also just playing it from the disc which seems to be installing quicker? Cheers.
  9. Also saw Peter Barlow stumbling through Chorlton Manchester absolutely leathered drinking out of a can of Stella.
  10. I was a bit surprised Broad wasn't nominated. You just know Giggs is going to end up getting knighted as soon as he retires. He should never have been nominated for this.
  11. Violet out of Corrie in my local. Fit.
  12. My pet hate about these 'ladies' is that in photos they line up facing one way and all look back over their shoulder. Look at every photo of the type from Facebook, you won't see one where they're square on. What the fuck's that about? You're not in MoVida or Boujis, you're in Rhyl.
  13. Whenever I see Babel, I just can't help thinking that if he had have gone to Arsenal he'd be class. I don't want to start the Rafa man-manager debate again, however, I think that for players of the right mind-set he's brilliant, whereas if you're perhaps not as mentally strong then your confidence will get sapped. Babel does himself absolutely no favours by being a gob shite though.
  14. Bump. Has anyone got a spare? ThankYouPlease.
  15. Out of; Style Council - Shout to the Top The Cure - Boys Don't Cry The Verve - Bitter Sweet Symphony
  16. Quilmes is awesome. Get on it.
  17. ". . . the only . . . faintly diverting thing in the show is Cowell's hair, suspiciously jet black, bristly and curiously flattened on top, as though he prepares for each episode by dipping his head in matt-black Dulux and painting his dressing room wall with it . . . Silly hair and shit singers: that's The X Factor . . ." Charlie Brooker is ace.

In middle of town Corbieres is good for a beer, as are Sams or Toms Chophouse. Cask and the Ox on Liverpool Rd (near knott Bar) are also worth a look.
  19. Stewart Lee ripping into Chris Moyles' book was one of the funniest things I've heard this year.
  20. Michael: I believe in reincarnaton like. I'd like to come back as an animal like a dolphin. Alan: Dolphins are quite intelligent Michael. I really love this thread.
