Looks like they're on the case: Gasps From The Kop: Third Email From Spreadshirt -
I don't think he travelled - unless he's going down late/separately to carry on training. I've got a bad feeling about this one, but I can't put my finger on why.
-
@TonyBarretTime I've been assured that Carroll will be out for about another 3 weeks. (unless he gets hit by a bus/grand piano/bitten by a rabid badger)
-
We go 1-0 up after 20, they equalise just before half time, Suarez makes it 2-1 in the 85th, we panic like mad but hold on for the win. Torres comes on as sub, tries too hard, gets annoyed at himself and gets booked for moaning. Several thousand shitty plastic flags snapped in frustration. Annoyingly, I can't see an option for that on the Ladbrokes site.

I only wish I'd put more money on Nando to score first :-) Digger was getting so much abuse from the women on Daybreak this morning for watching the match rather than going to the hospital. He's got his priorities just right if you ask me.
-
I've had a flutter on Nando .. 6/1 seemed a decent price when there's been signs of him getting his touch back the last few games. If I bet on us to win and score 3 goals that will guarantee a boring 0-0 draw :-)
-
I may well eat my words later, but I have a funny feeling that today's the day that Torres returns to form.. with a bang. Not sure we will be able to keep them out though; 3-2 to us maybe. Just hope we don't have to chase the game because the bench is particularly weak today.
-
I can see us being dominated and outplayed, with 40%-ish possession but managing to scrape a classless 1-0 win, possibly Meireles grabbing the winner. Depressing to think that we might be shown how to play football by a team managed by that glorified-ale-house-football egomaniac fat wanker prick.

Edit: I did look for a thread posting this but couldn't see one.. spotted it 10seconds after posting.. hohum. Taken from Sky Sports: Sky Sports | Liverpool News | Football | Premier League | Jovanovic hints at Reds exit Liverpool new boy Milan Jovanovic has admitted he is considering leaving the club just two months into the season. Jovanovic joined Liverpool on a free transfer from Standard Liege in the summer in a deal already agreed by former Reds boss Rafa Benitez. However, the Serbian international has struggled to hold down a regular place in Roy Hodgson'sside and he is not happy with the current situation. "I am starting to find the time dragging on," Jovanovic is quoted as saying by The Sun. "I'm a fighter but if things do not sort themselves out I will change club - even though it is too soon to think about it yet. "I'm on form, I'm working hard and I have started eight competitive games. "But I've not been in the starting XI for the last few matches - and I've not even come on as a sub." Struggle Jovanovic admits he is missing his former club Standard Liege as he is struggling to adapt to the rigours of English football He continued: "I have to adapt to a new system over here. I have to defend all the time. "Just three or four teams in the Premier league play attractive football. The others set great store by commitment, discipline and defending. "I miss Standard and the city of Liege."

I hope we control the game, boss them about, and end up 3-0 winners. Unfortunately, despite my pre-season optimism, I'm so devoid of any confidence in team I can see us surrendering possession (again), Blackpool taking heart from it, showing us how to play attacking, passing football and it ending up 1-3. Every game we've played this season I've thought "right, this will be the one where we start playing"; but 10 minutes in I'm yelling at the TV/Computer/Radio because we're playing like a team who's just come up from the Championship and doesn't want to lose. I'll be happy to eat humble pie if we have a good season :-)

The Happy Rumour Mill (Takeover bids, transfer talks etc) Part 2
Beepcake replied to Fugitive's topic in FF - Football Forum
From @bpfootball: "Rumours afoot that Fabio Aurelio has accepted a pay-as-you-play deal to re-join Liverpool for this season." Not sure whether that's good, because he's a decent player when fit, or a sign of desperation and a worrying hint that we're struggling to get a left back in.- 3,171 replies

All I can see on my phone is Newcastle Utd £30.. And Ashley still can't sell the fucking thing. -
Been a lurker for a while, but not posted much but I thought I'd raise something.. Now Sammy is back in the fold, do you think he will get involved with set piece training? He obviously served under fat Sam, and as much as I despise him and his teams they scored a lot of set plays, which is something I think we don't do enough of. Don't get me wrong, I don't want us to turn into a 20 goals, 19 set pieces a season team like Bolton.. but an extra bit of training on set plays could make a big difference against teams that stick their tents up on the goal line for 90 minutes at Anfield. If we do get Barry then hopefully he'll also give some quality from dead ball situations. Thoughts?

Visual Hub is great.. I use it for making DVDs and for chucking dodgy telly onto my iPod. Shame it's XGrid support is broken in Leopard.
