  1. Only a total twat would say that. Not surprised people on here are asking whether he really said it because it is Hodgsonesque in its shithouseness.
  2. Repped, because you are so right. Any bit of that could have been bolded for emphasis. Whelan is a Manc loving cock sucker. Ok, he's a local Manc loving cock sucker.
  3. oh, dear this could be a massive thread now you've opened the floodgates
  4. Once again, someone brings some sanity to a thread. Thank you
  5. He was probably caught in two minds when he wrote that
  6. I share concerns that we might gop back to the 2010 turgid, negative football; but you make a good point about how much of a mess his head was in having to deal with the Clown and C&A. He seems to really care about the club and it probably did affect him badly. Not sure I'd want him back, just as I didn't really want Kenny coming back, or Keegan managing England. It rarely works, going back, and I hate to see such great men subjected to vile abuse when it doesn't.
  7. Don't worry, mate - he just misspelled psychotic. Damned iphones
  8. Some good points in there, by you and the poster you quoted. We look totally chaotic at the moment. And your restraint in not using too much blod crap actually makes your stuff less painful to read. It feels really horrible at the moment. Yes, Kenny fucked up a lot last season but he actually won a trophy and nearly won another. It's hard to disbelieve that the Suarez shitstorm was something FSG never forgave.
  9. as disgusting as he is, at leat old ferguson shows up for work on time every day (even if he does act a twat). Compare that with any of the players that Joorubichan manages (I could have googled the right name for him but he's a leech and a twat) who seem to struggle to fulfill their job descriptions.
  10. Spot on. Somewhere along the way someone confused consistency with stagnation and called it 'TLW'. It suited Rick Parry's agenda to trot this out whenever he was faced with a task he was daunted by, or lacked the skills or courage to face. Ditto for Moores. The problem is TLW became a byword for what we had when were were massively successful. We were not resting on our laurels during this period, we were aggressive and operated much like Bayern do in Germany, snatching up the best domestic talent and weakening our rivals. This cowardly, pathetic version of TLW that is trotted out all the time is a myth. It wasn't that of Shankly when he came in and took the club in a different direction, putting administrators in their place, chopping out the dead wood, and changing the club kit so we had a different aura. This was the real Liverpool Way, though. It was the committment to excellence, and the pursuit of the number one spot. It was ruthless and single mided, and didn't cut slack to people who couldn't contribute to our success. When Shanks resigned the club was aware he could be a Busby type ghost, exerting his influence over the staff and causing Bob Paisley problems; so he was not allowed to do that. The club effectively marginalised a true club 'legend' - a word so commonly used for the mediocre that it shows how deeply our malaise has set in with the fans as well. Consistency is essential when things are going your way but detrimental when you are in the doldrums, as we have been for most of the last 20 years. Would Smith and Robinson have allowed this to happen? Definitely not. They would have adapted to the problems faced by us in the modern game. They would have developed a strategy and would have implemented it ruthlessly, regardless of whose feathers it ruffled. For all those crying about the title being bought, it was us (not the Mancs) who went into shirt advertising first - to give us an advantage over the rest. If Robinson was with us now, he might even have gone out to court a rich Mansoor like sugar daddy if it meant solving our problems. We need to stop believing in this myth ofthe cowardly, ineffective version of TLW. I hope FSG can make the difficult decisons. I believe Kenny needs the chance to implement his vision next season but if there is no sign he has learned from this season then it would make no sense to persevere with him. I hope and believe he can bring us through this.
  11. Well done, Warrior. They seem to have realised what previous kit suppliers didn't - that some twat has to wear this and not look like he needs to be sectioned undr the MH Act.
  12. This is a thing of beauty! We have got used to the chavvy crap that Adidas have dolled out to us (the red version of Chelsea or some other shite club). We were never more than just another small piece of their company and they never seemed to give a shit about our identity. Fuck off Adidas and good riddance. Your trainers are still brilliant and I will continiue to buy them but thank fuck you are no longer doing our kit
  13. Too true, AP. We've been an off-the-peg type of club for the last 20 years. It's about time we started exploiting our own rich history, rather than letting piss taking companies like Adidas and Carsberg (I know it was prob the Clown who did this) shit all over us with shite deals.
  14. If that is the shirt then it's better than anything Adidas has ever done (and I love Adidas). It's about time that football shirts moved away from Chavvy 'tribal' looks (though haven't seen the purple shirt yet)
  15. Good point - Enrique just seems to run around in circles like one of Homer Simpsons little Gridiron men - any purpose missing. Such a shame, considering how good he looked when he first started and when he actually seemed arsed about the team, not himself. Johnson and Agger are much better at the moment but hopefully someone will give him a massive kick up his arse
