    I wonder if the 50 million or more we get for him would go towards debt repayment as we are all aware the debt needs to be reduced. Even if we get a world class striker as a replacement how long will it take for him to be an instant hit like Torres, if gerrard goes who do we replace him with and replacement for masherano...........its all looking towards re building the squad.

    The scums won the league and the CL, thier squad looks very strong and they still going to spend more this summer. I wonder with the players we get are we going to hit the next level and win the league next season. Apart from last season where rafa spent money on torres/babel/benayoun ist always selling first to accommodate our purchases. As for last summer the owners never spent a penny from thier pockets rather it was funded by a loan which was put on the club as debt. We truly need to get a quality right winger for fucks sakes ronaldo who is a right winger scored 40 goals this season. We need more players who can change the game in an instant. Lets hope rafa lands us with number 19 or a number 6 next season.

Tell me what Bugdet was Rafa given when he had to overhaul the whole squad, he literally had to build a squad he didnt go buy players spalshing 15/17/20 million. Secondly how many of his first targets did he lose when Parry couldnt pay an extra million or so, Vidic, Evra. When Rafa loses his first priority signings he has to resort to plan B that is get squad players. A perfect example we could have had Simao but didnt happen and we got Penant instead we could have got Quaresma but we couldnt get. United go out and plash 17/18 million on Nani and Anderson. If Rafa was given a full transfer backing then we wouldnt see squad players in our team. Sometimes i wonder how much explaining needs to be done to you.

    How on earth is he going to eliminate the 350m debt before we move in to our new stadium. Where will he find 300m to build a new stadium as well as becoming an outright owner he will have to buy out gillete for around 200m thats about 500m pounds needed. I am afraid this will go on and on into the summer and this might hamper Rafa's summer transfers. What was surprising to me was that Parry was also involved and knew about the Klinsmann fiasco. I wouldnt be surprised if Rafa tenders his resignation and leaves end of season.

    If we want to progress to the Finals then we need to take atleast a 2-0 lead going to the bridge. We have to keep a clean sheet by all means and take a 2 goal cushion and hopefully we can look forward for the second leg.

    I truely hope we get Quaresma apart from him we were linked with Simao who has joined Atheletico Madrid and Mancini who is holding out for more money and it was reported earlier in the week that west ham are interested in him as well as matching his personal terms. Either we out bid west ham for Mancini and agree to his personal terms or put an improved bid for Quaresma. The right wing needs to be sorted out and i still have doubts on Pennant and Benayoun is hardly a right winger nor is he effective, he doesnt have the pace so we are weak on that front unless we are going to see Gerrard playing on the right when Pennant/Benayoun arent effective or providing that attacking threat that we crave from wingers.
