    No one has mentioned Ian Gillian of Deep Purple yet. Amazing voice. Check out Child In Time for a scream! Cornell is definitely the best vocalist post 1990 in my opinion. Fantastic range to his voice. As a band I always preferred Alice In Chains and I can understand people putting Stayley forward as a great singer but to be honest his voice was far more limited (albeit perfect for that band's sound and no one could every replace him). As much as I love Stayley's voice or for example Ozzy's in early Sabbath I do not think they were amongst the best in terms of technique and range. A few names off the top of my head who I think were the best rock singers: Gillian Bruce Dickinson Dio Geoff Tate (Queensryche) Cornell Fish (ex-Marillion) Plant Mike Patton

    Carra's book is one of the best I've read by a player who is still playing. Most others are more into talking themselves up and blaming others whereas Jamie gives a lot of insights into the game. Just read Rushie's book which I enjoyed a lot, especially the first 2/3 of it.

    I think Stan wants to get back at Carra after what Carra wrote about him in his book. Basically Collymore had agreed with the TALKsport guy who had called Carra a bottler for quitting the national team and that he should always be proud and ready to play for England. In his book Carra mentions how Collymore would miss training, sometimes games and also take some games too lightly and when talking about Collymore's comments re England he writes "You know what Stan, at least I've always turned up for games I've chosen for."

    Beware there are a few people going round sites who pretend to sell tickets but are just scam artists. One is called james_murphy82, who registered on quite a few sites including The bOOTroom: The Liverpool FC Forum - Index. Luckily someone off an Arsenal site warned us about him. This guy here may be genuine but be careful, especially of new posters.

    My 1yr old girl loves touching all the electricity sockets and other dangerous stuff. We've told her not to do it a million times, spoken to her in a disappointed/angry tone etc. etc. All to no avail. We've resorted to occasionally giving her a smack on the hand. Nothing violent but it shows her that what she is doing is wrong. Personally, as others have mentioned before, I see a big difference between such a smack and what I'd then define as a beating. Also the older kids get there are more potent ways of punishment such as depriving them of games, outings etc.

    I remember when the Liverpool squad came to Malta in 2000 he was basically acting like an 11yr old schoolboy on his first trip abroad. Spoke to him at length. Quite a laugh etc. but far from a model pro and you could see that all his dicking around was going to cost him his career. Houllier seemed to be doing his best to keep him under control but everyone has a limit.

    Neill and Malouda both tried to have a go at the club to justify them choosing another team. Malouda has contradicted himself. He first said that there were a lot of sharks and intermediaries when he spoke to Liverpool, compared to Mourinho talking to him on Chelsea's behalf. He now says that only Rafa spoke to him about joining Liverpool!

    Also states that we will be getting Yossi for approx 5m. That is 2.5m-3m plus Yossi for Bellamy. Not bad I say especially when one considers we made a decent profit on Bellamy.

    The plane is big enough for him to train on board. Apparently we sent Pako on the plane so that he can assess his fitness.
