  1. From twitter: Andrew_Heaton Also, before we judge, bear this in mind, the 3 England players with injunctions, all have played for #LFC, one still is, and it isn't SG
  2. Have you seen Inter play during the last few years? They haven't been particularly good but has managed to win the league simply due to Ibrahimovic (it's a kind of shitty league though nowadays) It is hard to say how Zlatan will fit in at Barca, but I am absolutely sure that Eto'o won't come close to replacing Ibra unless Inter make some major signings. Eto'o is a great goal-scorer as long as someone feeds him the ball. Zlatan creates goals for himself and, even more importantly, sets up his team-mates. He has been the brain behind everything at Inter. I would have thought that a striker like Eto'o would be a perfect fit for the formation Barcelona plays', but then again if there is something that Barca was missing last season it was probably a bit of strength, size and heading ability, things that Ibrahimovic will definitly add.
  3. The thing is that Zlatan has never played for a team good enough to play in these kind of games, but I agree that he has a lot to prove. The last few seasons though he has been immense in most of Inters' games against the other top teams in Serie A, so I can't see why he wouldn't excel in high profile CL games as well for Barca. "Some of the writers in world soccer" ??? I cannot believe how ignorant some people actually are. Why don't you take a look at this for example: Mourinho On Beckham And 'World's Best' Ibrahimovic - Goal.com The only people who doesn't seem to rate Zlatan are englishmen. And it pretty much all seems to come down to believing that he's lazy and has crap attitude, something that is as wrong as it gets.
  4. It isn't really a weird one though, is it? People in Italy, Sweden, Holland etc. who have seen him play week in, week out knows just how good he is. It is just you brits who have only seen him play the odd game for Sweden (shit) and in the CL for Inter (shit). But I'm sure that you know better than Guardiola, Mourinho, Mancini and Capello. It is hard to say how he will fit into the current Barca team, but there is no doubt about his ability. I can guarantee you though that Eto'o won't come close to what Zlatan achieved for Inter.
  5. For fucks sake... Best striker in the world after Torres is Ibra.
  6. Zlatan played absolutely brilliantly, especially in the first half, and the only reason he didn't win the game all by himself was Danny Agger..

    Grosso

Watched Inter quite a lot last season and I can't say that I was impressed by Grosso at all. Nowhere near his World Cup form. Both Riise and Aurelio is better.
  8. Ibrahimivic is brilliant. If anything he is outrageously underrated in england.
  9. Are you guys serious? I haven't been able to follow any other team than Liverpool proberly this season so I really have no idea about how van Persie has been doing. But judging from what I've seen of him in recent years, all he has is a decent technique and a good shot, not much more. Has he really improved that much?
  10. Apparently, we have also signed Morrissey.
  11. Nolan is certainly not mediocre, way better than Barton. Would love it if we signed him.
  12. I thought he looked quite good. Really really fast and pretty good with the ball. Wanted to see him cross but he never really got a chance. Will deffo be exciting to see him here next season.
  13. Moro was brilliant during our winning streak. Played great as a link between Crouchy and the midfield. He was s**** today and against the mancs but maybe he needs to get his fitness back after his injury.
  14. Hmm, three goals conceded. Surely Miki and Godwin can't have played?
  15. I love this chinese boat-show :)
