    JJB do the home shirt pre-printed with Torres on it for less than 50 quid (i think). For the sake of an extra tenner it might be worth taking it back to the shop and heading off to JJB instead... it would cost around 20 quid to get subside to get it sorted.

    Gareth Gates went in to the newsagents to buy a Mars Bar. He came out with 10 packets of M&M's..... Did you hear about the constipated mathematician? He tried to work it out with a pencil.

    I'll try and bring this with me on Wednesday - it made its debut at Wrexham for Rafa's first game in July 2004.

    Apparently Jack Metcalf (sp?), who's sub a today, has already been guaranteed a 2 year YTS and one year pro deal. He's a centre back.

    I'd say 1 in every 2 of Rafa's signings have worked out ok - so I'd rate his record as good considering the trophies we've won under him. If we hadn't won anything than I'd have said it needs to improve.

    I wouldn't put too much weight on the videos on youtube - it's a highlights package, it's meant to put him in a good light. Some decent finishes though.

    I've been with o2 for a few years and I've found their retentions policy a little bit strange too. I managed to get a £25 12 month contract (100 anytime mins 500 texts) down to £10 but they wouldn't offer me a new phone. They wanted a minimum of £110 for their cheapest phone. Virgin's tariffs seemed to be the best around when I was renewing - until I got the line rental down to a tenner a month.

    My mate at the Academy spoke to him on Sunday and said he's turned Bolton down - he had no idea why the Guardian said it.

    I'm a Cowboys fan as I've got family over there - just got it to it as the Cowboys had a bit of a golden era is the early 90s. Emmit Smith - Cowboys legend. I've got a signed Cowboys pennant by Jimmy Johnson as well.

    I'm told that that Malcolm fella is breaking loads of the academy / premier league rules all the time - tapping up etc. Making it even worse, Steve Heighway helped create these rules! Rafa has been involved in that Swedish lad's trip over here a few weeks ago. He took him and his dad out for a meal, etc.

    What the fuck is he on about! Everytime he opened his mouth, it just got worse. I think Rafa deserved a little bit more respect than that.

    My uncle was in Bread and Only Fools and Horses as well as a Carling (Black Label) ad. Only small parts (1 episode) in Bread and Only Fools though.

    My cousin was the dark haired one. They were never meant to get through, the panel were always gonna reject them, just for the TV / story line angle.

    My cousin was on the x factor the other weekend - she was one of the girl group that kicked off when they got rejected. They were on GMTV the Monday after.

    I also won the 'Son of Cheesily' competition on Mark and Lard's radio show on Radio 1 a couple of years.
