It is thought Fraser wore the embarrassing attire as a forfeit for being the worst trainer of the week, but still received some puzzled looks from team-mates.

Fraser, on loan from Bolton Wanderers, was banned in October for nine games after attacking an opponent in an Under-20 fixture against Dunfermline.

Fraser returns from his ban on New Year's Day for the trip to Celtic, and it is thought Thistle may extend his loan until the end of the season.

One positive for Fraser... at least he wore black boots rather than the multi-coloured monstrosities knocking about in British football these days.
