Apparantley Souness has put him on the transfer list. Surely he is the type of young player GH wants in his squad so he can develop into an even better player than he si already. If GH is going on about not being held to ransom, then what about Joe Cole?? He would not cost that much as his contract runs out soon so The Hammers will want to cash in on him surely.

No I think you will find that he wants to bring in some "star" names (hence the bid for duff) but he will not be forced to pay over the odds for players. If he were then the transfer kitty for the following seasons would gradually deminish instead of building up to buy the odd "luxury" player each summer, every other summer.

An Italian club offered us £12M for Baros I reward somewhere so £4M is peanuts. He has been our best striker this season, I dont understand that mate. I would sign: Carr Duff or Ronaldino or Van Der Vaart or Overmars Gallas or Mexes I would promote Mellor Ostomober Warnock Welsh Raven Pongolle Le Tallec I would sell All the dead wood and thats about 10 players. By the way Hamann was one of the best midfielders of the world cup. A going forward Hamann would be brilliant for our team as the back door would alo be shut!

....were once again a disgrace We got there we to be faced with a CORDON OF RIOT POLICE who were hell bent on finding trouble. They were lined up and you had to show your ticket and then politely ease through about four of them who would stand in your way and eyeball you. After the match they decided they just wanted to hit people, and began picking arguements. One lad next to me shouted at his MUM and he got grabbed and flung about by one of them! The poor woman was petrified. They didnt have any intention of stopping the neandethal inbred twat burberry clad sheffield fans who had come round looking for trouble, they just wanted to join them in having a go at us. I…

Very disapointed with the attitude of G H after match last night,if the team you put out does not play well just admit it dont go blaming everthing from the pitch to other team being dirty . The tackle on kirkland was late but i dont think the lad went out to injure him , to moan about pitch makes him sound petty. as for our no7 ive seen some bad displays from him but last night must have even made G H realise the bloke just aint up to it , if there aint any better players at the club to play his position then we are in trouble.

The answer to number 2 is yes. He is also the only player to play in 5 European Cup finals if my memory serves me correctly.

Our 12 match unbeaten run at the start of the season began at Villa, who we play on Saturday. Two years ago we lost a Worthy Cup semi 1st leg at Palace then played Villa the following Saturday and won 3-0. I know this is desparation, but I have to try and be optimistic.

witch hunt
by Guest john allison- 1 reply

why are the media so obsessed with conducting a witch hunt against stevie g, lauren nearly snaps zolas leg in two with a nasty tackle, not a mention in the press! pilsbury dough boy puts steve vickers out for two weeks, the over exhuberence of youth!. its about time the press and f.a got off the lads back, and stop slagging him at every opportunity, or concocting charges against him, what about going after other players for a change who commit the same type of offence. lastly how many deliberate fouls does sally (sorry sol) campbell have to commit before he gets booked, like professional fouls (on baros) or deliberate hand ball (on kirkland. if it was stevie they would ha…

Its so fucking frustrating watching people like Vlad play well in the odd game, its time they realised its Liverpool thay are playing for not some shit team who settle for top five or six season after season. We need more strenth and depth coupled with experience. Fairplay, the likes of Mellor are super prospects but how long will we have to wait for glory. I think its about time we dug deep and splashed some cash for a proven world superstar be it Aimar whoever. Any thoughts?

I know it is probably just crap paper talk but I cant believe this speculation that houllier is going to swap heskey for davies of tottenham? Surely he is one of geds favourites and so a swap would not be on? And Davies is being linked to man utd for 6 million, so are people saying that is all heskey is worth? Dont get me wrong i dont mind davies, but not sure about this swap stuff. What do people reckon?

Man To Watch vs United

Man To Watch vs Sheff Utd: Michael Tonge When Neil Warnock was handed the job of managing the club he had supported all his life, his stated ambition was that of leading Sheffield United back into the highest division of English football. Yet he was faced with the endemic problem of modern football: lack of money. A problem partially solved by his eye for talent and ability to spot a bargain. But to move up the league ladder, you need that little bit of quality that is rarely available on the cheap. Fortunately for Warnock, United already had in place a productive youth system. And it is through this system that his biggest headache was solved. When Michae…
