  1. I'm talking when he's fit. He obviously isn't now, but pre the new year his numbers where good. Get him closer to goal so he gets more chances and he still has a great eye for a pass. No point in isolating him wide when he's obviously losing pace
  2. Americans wouldn't know what communism is if you hammered a fucking sickle up their backside
  3. Yeah but that's cause he will have won the champions league the year before. Hiddink didn't last 8 months in the job
  4. Great days for baldies Both Manchester and Liverpool clubs all ruled by the hairless. images.mp4
  5. Let's hope he's better than Hiddink Outside of Holland he's only won the world club cup and 1 FA Cup
  6. Who knows who thought that was ever a good idea. Actually who knows who thought that summer was a bloody good idea 117ml on thtis lot. Origi joined a year later as part of the deal. Rickie Lambert Adam Lallana Emre Can Lazar Marković Lovren Alberto Moreno Mario Balotelli Divock Origi*
  7. He wasnt really in thar position pre Klopp for long was he? He wasn't the actual sporting director till 2016. Before that he was technical side so would have had input along with Hunter and others. But I'd put money on him being part of the group that pushed for Coutinho,Sakho,Can Markovic,Origi, Firmino,Gruijic,Gomez etc. I doubt many of those was Rodgers After that convincing Klopp on Mane and Salah over Brandt and Gotze. Others who didn't work out, but obviously decent players as shown elsewhere Luis Alberto and Aspas I wouldn't dismiss his input at all, but it would be interesting to see how it worked out without one of the best of his generation as manager
  8. Can't disagree with any of the above. But the news that Klopp pushed and demanded Nunez isn't new. It was put out a while back I remember reading it. Not saying Hughes/Edwards haven't pushed the story, especially with 2 journos going to press but I could just be Nunez missing another sitter and them running it again, especially with Carragher opening his trap about him again. Let's see what else leaks But I 100% agree on those that have a hard on for Edwards. He was obviously a massive part of the scouting success but fuck all worked before Klopp. And my fear is him and FSG going back to telling everyone just hoe clever they are. There's been far to much of that shit leaked by the club and it generally comes back and bites us in the arse. This summer there should be no fucking around being clever. We should have money there from penny pinching previously. Get rid of some that are not good enough, won't sign new deals etc and spend some money on players that are ready. Then go and sign some promising younger players, I'm not saying do a Mourinho and get 28/29 year old. But someone like a Osimhen who's 25/26 will just about guarantee goals, and looks as near a complete forward as you can find. Oh and while your in Napoli get Kvaratskhelia aswell.
  9. Having looked through them the only one that looks a pen is the Gvardiol one. Was Foden given a pen there? The Ake handball would be silly, his arm isn't making him bigger, but fuck knows with the rules these days
  10. As @dave u jumps off one hype train he might be back on the Bears train after this draft
  11. QBs going 1/2/3 tonight Bears - Williams Washington - Daniels Pats - Maye Then Marvin Harrison jnr to Cards
  12. Salah has been crap for weeks, but unsurprisingly a man that has done the job for 4 years and winning us trophies gets more slack. But even he is getting shit and many people saying this might be a time to let him go. Even though pre injury at AFCON he was still producing goals and assistant, even though imo his overall game has fallen of for a couple of years
  13. Mane played around 5/600 extra minutes. Though all of Manes goals are in the CL or league as are nearly all his minutes. 9 of Nunez are in FA,League cups,Europa league and Community shield. As I said he also joined a far better team and is a striker. He can't be relied on to score goals when the chips are down, he simply isn't good enough and at nearly 25 he isnt going to develop much either. As I said earlier scoring st a similar rate to Gordon,Richarlison and has been outscored by Chris Wood. No excuse for service either.
