    Paid 50p to get in the Anny Road - 1971 v Leicester 3-2. Also - I was allowed to take in a home made wooden ‘step’ to help me see better. Imagine trying to take a few bits of nailed-together 4x2 wooden blocks into the ground now! Also - I was able to leave that step in the same spot and it would still be there at every home game throughout the season.

    Bit late to this particular party, but I watched Parasite yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. A great story with some neat twists. 8/10 - recommended

    Fucking annoying when at the end of a long message I’ve just sent, I spot that I’ve said that I’m ‘…in the bus….’ And not ‘…on the bus….’ And I always have to edit and correct it. Gets in my fucking nerves.

    Only went on the Kop once, when they closed the Anny Road gates. It was the game against Man Utd in the 70s where Charlton scored a cracker from the angle of the 18 yard box. Everyone lurched forward and that proved too much for my owl fella, who plucked me up and took me out. Think I only saw 10 minutes - what a waste of 50p!

    My first game was Leicester at Anfield 1971 - I was 12. Anny Road end - 50p at the gate. We won 3-2 - seem to recall Clemence coming out to catch a cross, dropping it on his head and the Leicester forward slotting it in as Clemence was looking for the ball

    I hope this is permissible to post amidst the to and fro of messages? My grandson Aiden [7] went to his first Liverpool game against Fulham. He had a great time. He was absolutely buzzing. He was hi-fiving all the fellas around him when Liverpool scored, and told me that he was screaming when they scored. He had his Alisson Becker kit on.
