I’d genuinely be concerned for the safety of anyone who fell asleep, either naturally or by other sinister means, around any of them.

I absolutely understand that, it’s a very difficult conversation. It’s an absolute mess. Will take a better person than me to come up with how it’s solved. I hope they get it right.

It’s a different world now. It could well be the way the press reports things to inspire rage and therefore get clicks and comments but it just seems things get continually worse. There could have been the same number or more of ‘per capita’ crimes like this in the past happening but it just seems like things are deteriorating. For now the majority of people are decent but it seems like the amount that are scum just continues to rise and you aren’t surprised any more by things like this happening. They’ll find out who it is and the arguments will be about what a bad life they’ve had, how x service failed, chaotic lifestyle brought in etc and they’ll become the victim. I’m doing the old man shouts at the sky thing whilst also acknowledging I don’t even have a suggestion about how to deal with it.

1st point I don’t know, looking at that video it would seem a standard UK police officer would be dealing with being a witness to a stabbing and then whatever action immediately followed it. (Standard) American police are authorised to use firearms though so it’s a moot point. Second point I don’t know either but I would expect that if a white person was mid swing with a knife and likely to seriously injure / kill someone the same would happen. Do you think he only shot her because she’s black? How would you have dealt with it? If you acted indecisively and she’d killed the other girl what would you be saying?

I’m bald, have been since about 30 and I hate it. Keep it shaved to the wood because even after 2 days the horseshoe starts to show round the sides. I think my only hope is that I witness a murder and have to go into witness protection program starting completely afresh with nobody I ever met before, might treat myself to it then and would still probably fire a couple of those hardcore staples into it just to be sure it doesn’t slide off in hot weather.

Yep, I had a dream that it went to millions. I think I’ll buy about 500 quids worth over the next few days. Leave it and hope something decent happens. I have a bit spare as the annual gentleman’s weekend away was cancelled last year and unlikely to happen this year. It’s worth the chance

My investment was tiny really and just a bit of a test, 60 dollars, was up to 91, steady rate seems to be 80. My mate did well, bought 50 quids worth of Doge with some leftovers from Bitcoin and it’s now worth 700 dollars. I think overall that it’s where I’ll bang the savings, returns fluctuate that much can cash out within a few hours and get a return if you’re quick on the cash out

Ok and what does the points deduction achieve? Slagged off in future but they’ll completely accept it when we say ‘no no, we got deducted points so it can’t ever be mentioned’ Fuck everyone else, they hate us no matter what and will pap on forever about this. I hated the idea but always thought that the best part of it would be that these shitty clubs who slag us off with their fans who call us bin dippers and murderers would drown in their own bile when they realise they only got paid because we were there. Fan solidarity lasted about 48 hours. Offer any of the ‘unremarkable 7-20’ a chance to form a league where they get 300 million a year guaranteed and they’d have sacrificed every season ticket holder like that twat burning his kid on Game of Thrones to get a slice. I guarantee if the 6 clubs got a points deduction meaning CL and the title went to scruffs like Everton they’d find a way to claim there shouldn’t be an asterisk against it.

They’re seriously yo-yo’ing all over the place, in the last 5 days I’ve been up and down between +30% and -10% my initial. I was told that today should have seen a serious increase as they’re a meme coin and today is international meme day but it’s at fuck all. I was very late to this, my mate has around 12 times his initial investment and has done well but I’m fucking it off as soon as I can get anything worthwhile.

Such a snide way of inferring something (I mean the guy tweeting). It’s obviously going to depend on actions within the protest. If it involved burning things, violence and threats then of course disciplinary action is going to be taken. I don’t think anyone peacefully protesting racism has much to worry about.

I had a cull of LinkedIn people around the Captain Tom full blown hysteria period. Some of the stuff made me cringe so hard I could quite easily have turned inside out. Someone dared put ‘fuck sake, he only walked round his garden’ and was promptly the victim of some sort of virtual pile on. Wouldn’t surprise me if someone tried to have his job over it.

Fuck sake this all gets more depressing. The epitome of 1 step forward, 2 steps back.
