    Probably not but the Trefoil is the coolest logo going and the Equipment one looks like something you'd see in a solicitor shop window. If they go full Trefoil next season, I might even have to get a t-shirt or something.

    Parkas are the best winter coats you can get IMO. Seen nice ones from Fred Perry, Aquascutum & Alpha Industries just this week. Try Atom Retro for them, you can type Parka in the search bar on there. I've still got a hankering for a duffle coat but never have enough money for the ones I want.

    There is an alternative, don't go & save yourself £700 or whatever it is. Folk were hassling me about The Roses reunion & I just said 'You're welcome to it.'. You don't have to go to these things just because they're hyped to fuck. Sit and watch a blu ray of your favourite band in the house for free. You'll see & hear them much better and won't be surrounded by 70,000 bellends.

If we didn't have enough reason to hate them, remember all that whining after Nunez's last gasp winner at their shithole last season, wanks.

    I had one, the stripes stayed on but it was itchy as fuck & I hardly wore it as a result (probably why the stripes were ok).

    Apart from the pre-sponsorship kits, that 87-89 one was the ultimate for me. My first kit (I was gutted when my parents refused to buy me one in '86), arguably our best ever side and just pure simplicity from Adidas. Magic.

    I've been watching this, I initially gave up after two episodes but something compelled me to come back to it & now flying through the second series. It seems to owe an awful lot to The Thick of It but that's no bad thing really. On the skirt front, I'm a fan of Shiv & also the blonde Pierce bird Ken has been having a thing with. I can't help but root for Ken a wee bit despite him being a horrible shell of a man.

    He raped a photographer with their own camera live on The Johnny Carson Show after they pointed out The Foo Fighters made music for deaf accountants. It was all very unsavoury.

    I hope Slot & the squad know all the hard work is still to come, we've beaten three pretty poor looking sides thus far although the signs are certainly positive. Heads down & on with the task in hand rather than basking in any glory thanks.

    I'm with Stig here, Oasis had thousands of kids up & down the country starting bands, they were very influential in that regard & pretty important culturally for a good two years or so.

    There's different ways to look at importance, Oasis were absolutely massive here for a few years & will have inspired thousands of people to start bands etc. but did they move music forward at all or break any new ground? Absolutely not. So they were massively important in some ways but not at all in others.

    I went for a weekend in Kerry with my ex & the place was absolutely beautiful. All mountains, hills and lovely wee towns & villages, proper postcard stuff. I would love to go back. One of the highlights was an American asking a local where the nearest supermarket was & the boy goes, 'New York'.
