I'm not sure whether I'm pro BRod or against at the moment but what I do know is that Lovren is pound for pound the worst signing in my time watching the club. He's awful, a liability at the back and probably the opposition's best defender at set pieces. I thought this before that ridiculous shot at the end too.

Was the second Costa stamp on Skrtel not seen by the ref the other week? That incident and yesterday's with De Gea are virtually identical yet Skrtel gets charged, the only difference I can think of is that Costa's wasn't seen.

Not many better occasions in world sport than a rugby international in Cardiff. Lovely stuff, good game too.

Sterling hasn't been very good for a while now has he? Think a long summer has caught up with him and he could do with coming out of the firing line a bit.

Quite telling that we seem to have regressed tonight when bringing on the better players. This system has worked against these tonight and if we had a little more cutting edge in the final third we might just have nicked something. Spurs aside (and given the probable result and performance) our best performance this season.

If Skrtel put as much effort into heading the ball as he does into fouling and hanging on to the attacker we'd concede far fewer set piece goals.

All the while the US are handing more rockets to Israel to fire at Gaza. They then condemn the rocket attacks on civilians, well then stop fucking giving them the means to fucking do it. In a not too round about way the US are as complicit in this as Israel but that's a bit too unpalatable for most to consider so it's generally ignored by most.

It's the most fantastic thing in the world ever. Your life will change forever but in the best possible way, you'll wonder why you didn't do it years ago. As most have said just muddle through, make everything fun for the baby and he/she and you will love it. Nothing better than getting a baby into hysterics, best sound in the world. My only bit of advise would be for you to go to an NCT class before the birth. They talk you though what to expect on the birth day and while it doesn't exactly prepare you for it, it gives you some foresight that helps you understand if anything goes off track on the day and generally not to worry. It also gives your missus a network of friends who are all having a baby around the same time so she'll have people to talk to about it that are going through similar shit. You'll probably dislike their partners but you're not obliged the become their mates, I haven't and my missus sees her NCT group all the time. Oh and don't push for sex too soon after the birth. She's completely fecked in the head and will likely have split her difference...

Moyes has built his reputation on setting his unfancied team of underdogs up to be structured, bed in, concede possession, have their backs against the wall and try to hit the opposition with direct attacks. For the first time this season this approach was generally palatable to all at OT and he has got a slither of success, what is the difference between this and all the decent results he achieved at Goodison against top teams only now it is on a higher level? They'll lose in Germany just in the same way he lost (or drew) away to the 'top 4' for eleven fucking years while in charge of The Ev. I bet if you check tonight's stats against those good results for Everton they'll be similar i.e. less passes, less possession and less chances. He's a dog, always has been and always will be.

Any news on the return of Sakho, Lucas and Enrique? The first two particularly would help our chances immeasurably. Skrtel and Dagger are just not cut out for the way we play.
