    Litmanen was the worst in terms of not being played, he was a genius and Houllier never seemed to rate him. I like Assaidi, he's fast, got good skills and seems to play with purpose every time he comes on. I think Rodgers likes wingers that cut inside and Assaidi is more of a run to the line type of winger, thats essentially the problem. He's better than the 2 million we paid for him.

    I haven't seen much tika taka going on with us, the last i remember was Norwich away at the start of the season, that was blatantly tika taka from 70 minutes onwards. Apart from that i think we've played pretty direct at times, certainly more so towards the end of the season.

    Yeah Broner should move back to 140 after this fight, i think he will. Maidana is probably better off staying away from Matthysse, although it would be the fight of the year while it lasted haha.

    I totally agree with the top bit, his weakness is slick boxers, your absolutely right. But whilst saying that, if Broner picked Maidana for his next fight i'd honestly go for Maidana by Ko. Broner has only fought average fighters like Rees and De Marco, these are small guys, barely even lightweights. Malignaggi is a handpicked show pony, he almost got beaten by Cano. I wouldn't build Broner up to be a monster just yet, i don't think he's ready for legitimate 147 guys like Maidana.

    It was playing out as you predicted, Lopez just lost it at the end of the 3rd round, banged his gloves together and started to trade. If he would of kept to his boxing and avoided Maidana's right hand he may of lasted the distance. He got too confident and started to trade, and the last thing you want to do is get into a dog fight with Marcos Maidana, the writing was on the wall from that moment onwards. I was watching Esnews with Maidana hitting the pads with Robert Garcia, if anyone hasn't seen it, i suggest you check it out. Every right hand sounded like a thunderclap, freakish power.

    That punch that Stevenson threw was one of the hardest in recent memory. Maidana vs Lopez went down as expected, spirited effort from Lopez but ultimately Maidanas power would tell in the end. Maidana is the truth, he reminds me of Duran, probably the most exciting fighter to watch in the sport. The Angulo fight really surprised me, it was like Cotto vs Margarito, gutted his orbital bone broke, wasn't expecting that sort of performance from him at all.

    Maidana is gonna run through Lopez like a hot knife through butter. Maidana is the truth, you stand and fight with Maidana and your getting knocked out. Lopez was lucky to get that win over Ortiz, his jaw was shattered in three places and it's understandable in that context why he quit. Lopez has brought a knife to a gunfight and i only see one outcome here, i'm going for Maidana by 7th round KO.
