You mean you don't have a full sized tennis court in your back garden?

    Coronavirus

Yeah the catastrophic highly contagious virus is nothing to do with the virus lab, it's the local food market. Everyone will believe that, right? Saying that, worse has probably come out of St John's...

Ha. I'm letting my hair run wild and free. Quite like it. The wife doesn't. She's talking shit though it's a magnificent sight.

Christ I almost wish we'd fucking lost the war watching that.

That BuzzFeed article is interesting about the newspapers pushing end of lockdown to boost sales. What next, hacking dead children's phones?

Another 626 deaths. So close to victory. So proud of this country.

There was a feature on BBC Newsnight last week about South Africa - SA and the UK were in similar trajectories until something like the 26th March. They then acted very quickly on the lockdown, had army on the streets, banned sale of alcohol, and have an existing "army" of 30,00 (iirc) community health volunteers doing loads of testing. One of the chief SA health fellas didn't understand how the UK had got it so wrong.

Rate the last film you watched...

That's good. I knew a "final" version had never been actually produced, but I didn't know that it had all been destroyed. Fucking hell! https://www.rogerebert.com/features/the-wicker-man-the-cut-may-be-final-but-the-film-is-still-incomplete

Rate the last film you watched...

I still find the first pub scene the most unsettling part of the film. Saying that the whole film is like a bad dream.

    This VE Day thing.

"Brexit was decided in taverns, not wine bars." Christ. I'm sure Rowan Pelling from the Daily Telegraph is down her "local boozer" every night.

I'd forgotten about this, what a hero. Churchiliian in his nature.

    This VE Day thing.

When I was growing up (80s) there were tangible things related to the War still around - people (obviously), bomb sites/wrecks, gear (we had WW2 stuff in our loft - gas mask, ration tins). But we're now so far away I'm sure to people younger than me it literally seems like ancient history. I don't really know what point I'm making here. I guess back then the war was a realthing and people still felt it. Seems now a lot of people use it as (imaginary) point scoring and jingoism.

    TLW Deathpool 2020

Very sad. One of the greats. Also inspired V2 Schneider by Bowie, great song.

Computers and consoles - what have you got?

Nice one. Have you used the Retro Arch pack from Arcade Punks? That has all the games and artwork and has them all set up - you just follow the instructions (copy and paste folders basically) and it's all done for you.

Computers and consoles - what have you got?

That's the Ultimate build. I downloaded the Lite build which is 20gb (I wasn't interested in 200gb of PSOne games tbh). I've modded both mine to use SD2Vita - a memory card adapter which has a slot for normal micro SD cards. One is 64gb (which I already had) the other is 128gb (which I bought specifically). Your Vita has to be modded if you want to do any of this mind.

Computers and consoles - what have you got?

Here is the guide and the download - https://www.arcadepunks.com/ps-vita-ultimate-retro-pack-from-crazymac-fully-load-your-vita-now/ I just downloaded the Lite - it's about 20gb. There's instructions to follow it's pretty straightforward.

There are not enough characters available in a Tweet to list the genders in 2020.

I don't see the point of media publishing stories about unconfirmed reports. Until there's something concrete it's all just guesswork and opinion.
