  1. "United did have a reasonable argument De Gea would have made more of an effort to block the shot had he not seen the raised flag." What's the Spanish for play to the whistle?
  2. Grant Shapps, the transport secretary, has plagiarised great chunks of the statement by Chris Grayling when Monarch collapsed. You're really hitting rock bottom if you're using Failing Grayling as a source.
  3. Starved of decent TV, even cable, in Vietnam, I made the effort to get Kodi up and running on my mobile and, based on comments here, I've just watched Mr Inbetween. Fucking brilliant is the only apt description. For some reason I can't get a stream on Exodus redux with vshare or openload on S01e02 or S01e06 which is really frustrating - any tips would be appreciated. Please - no "I don't answer questions" responses. Brilliant TV, best thing I've seen since Justified finished. An easy 9/10.
  4. Barcelona fined a whopping €300 fine for tapping up Griezeman. That'll learn them. They won't be doing that again.
  5. Somebody has obviously replaced the sun with an energy efficient light bulb then because the Tangerine Toddler looks the same outside. I imagine whoever applied the goo is on their way to Guantanamo for leaving the panda eyes.
  6. The only good thing is that it looks like a paper plate enabling you to bin the entire mess rather than having to scrape it off the plate
  7. As opposed to the usual Tory lying to the entire electorate.
  8. I tried reading it but I kept falling asleep and waking up dressed like a chicken.
  9. I think I've accidentally wandered into the "I'm a hysterical fanny thread". We got rid of Mignolet who was fuck up on a stick just before the window closed. We got this guy for free who had the full expectation of getting splinters in his arse from spending the next couple of years sitting on the bench. Tragedy strikes and AB is injured - long term. So he's made some good saves and some bad attempts but who the fuck else could we have got just for back up for one of the worlds best keepers? Or would you have preferred we recalled Karius?
  10. "I've seen them given" = they've made that mistake in the past.
  11. I have been wanting to see VAR for years but it is being used to reinforce the incorrect decisions it is supposed to correct.
  12. Other reviews by the same person: Blackpool - 3 piers. What's that about. 1 is enough for anyone. Caution, the Irish Sea is cold and wet Venice - Full of foreigners and the roads are flooded London by Underground day tour - Really boring scenery, all looks the same. Malaga - Waste of money taking my surfboard, nó waves. On the plus side, lots of fish and chip shops.
  13. The Americans have no problem with guns and gun violence either on TV or in real life but saying fuck or showing buttocks results in torrents of complaints.
  14. The knife being necessary to stab yourself in the eye because some cunt ruined it by polluting it with beans.
  15. Solidity. Organisation. Control. Creativity. Energy. Ruthlessness. The campaign for real acronyms strikes
  16. Bollocks. The only way the foul on Matip could have been more obvious would have required the use of a chainsaw. Clear and obvious error by Mariner (a fucking joke of a referee) compounded by VAR supporting the referee and not enforcing the rules. Fuck knows what the standard is league 1 and 2 because the ones used in EPL are either biased, stupid or blind - or a combination. The sooner Sian Massey gets a promotion the better
  17. That looks more like a cup of cocoa than a cup of tea. All that hard work ruined by the addition of orange goat droppings.
  18. Sugar does have a tendency to burn when subjected to high temperatures.
  19. No chance of either when there is a Tory running DWP
  20. Lack of experience is much less of a problem than lack of empathy and lack of brains
  21. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/sep/06/democracy-overboard-rupert-murdochs-long-war-on-australian-politics Written by Kevin Rudd, ex PM of Australia, brought down by this toxic cunt but his points are just applicable to the UK.
  22. My dad wouldn't take me to Anfield when I was very young but took me to Prenton Park on a Friday night because of the ex Liverpool (and Everton) players they fielded back then. This was back in the fifties when wages were capped at £20 a week and many footballers also had a day job.
