    Torres is pretty much a goal scorer & not much else. His hold up play isn't great, his attitude sometimes stinks and he sulks. I see it's pretty much accepted that Pepe will be offski in the summer (Barca ?). That will be a hard one to replace, replacing him as well as Carra could be too much for one transfer window.............

I know at least 2 families where the parent(s) regularly take their kids to Prem matches, yet their kids don't kick a ball at all, rarely even in their own garden. How can you muster the same passion levels as a bunch of kids who regularly punt a scabby semi deflated scabby ball around ? Unfortunately, these are the ones that are being priced out of it. Football came from grass roots level, it's being prised away from that now and is heading down the tennis route - a rich boy's game. Start by dealing with sub standard players being paid astronomical wages. The less some of these cunts get paid, the less it costs the fans. Put it back within the financial reach of the people who genuinely love their football, and not just the fashionistas. Then you start to develop a real atmosphere again.

    I would love to see Stoke get flushed. You can't polish a turd.
