Thing is as much as I was sick to see KK leave for Hamburg I'm sure Bob knows what he's doing getting this lad from Celtic. Bags of goals up there but no guarantees. Just hope it keeps going for us especially with the final being at Wembley as well. Fingers crossed.

There is no fear factor for any clubs playing wherever or whoever after the piss poor quality of last years prem. Why should you fear for Rodgers? He has fuck all to lose as we never beat any of them in the league at our place anyway. For people to turn on him if results go against us would prove all the more we are to becoming the new toon army. Imagine the buzz about the place when we hold our own against all three.

He's had a great season playing in a team that has struggled after his partner and midfield cover got injured. My player of the year ( due to Lucas injury ) If he wants to go then fuck him. Players at this club are perservered with through mundane seasons yet as soon as they have a good season they want away. Hope he stays

Excuse me if i'm not blown away and slightly underwhelmed by these revelations BCM me old mate. I can't take that handbag down the bagwash to the old quilts. They'd fuck me right off. I reckon Kenny will stay based on the fact we are better than we were under Hodgson. Regardless of where we end up league wise. There have been some excellent performances considering we've carried one or two players in most games without getting the results. Things need to improve and he knows that. No one outstanding to bring in as proved by some of the names mentioned as well as talk of bringing Rafa back. The king will stay I reckon and rightly so. No player is immune from criticism but you are now getting a bit mischievious with this cannibal dig. If you don't think he is up there with the top players in this piss poor premier you mention, then you might want to have a word with the manager of our biggest rivals who felt he had to do something about a player he was genuinely afraid of having seen his champions humiliated by a tour de force performance in that 3 1 hiding. He has an edge but it is worth the bother. Luis Suarez is world class.

74 Newcastle. Went by coach off the estate. Left at 11 30 Friday night and got to wembley at 5 30. I was 13 and our coach was 90% kids some older lads and a few mums. All flares,feather cuts and budgie jackets. At the ground we mooched about and got into the ground through the entrance where the players coach used to go. We fucked about as kids will and soon got bored climbing up the goals. Got chased out and about 10 of us bunked on the tube into London whipping milk off the steps and generally misbehaving. Got off the tube at some stop and thought we saw a load of reds on the other platform until they saw us and we realised they were cockneys looking to cop for scousers to knock fuck out of. Got a good chasing but made it back to wembley ok. When the reds specials arrived the sight of them coming down wembley way flags flying all singing sent shivers down my spine and I knew we would fucking batter them that day. We were unstoppable. None of us had a ticket but nearly everyone of us got in. 2 of the older lads decided to hide in the ground after we got in earlier but got frogmarched out just after they opened the gates. Poor cunts had hid from 6 00 until about 12. where was you hiding we asked when we met them " in the royal box, didn't think they would bother looking there they said. We all agreed that was bad luck. Happy days

It's been naughty for a long time. The trouble at the the 2 semi's in 79 at Maine rd and in the replay we lost at goodison was as bad as it gets. I know a few utd lads who were there at the replay including a mate who hid in a bin at the back of the old punch and judy cafe in front of lime street. Missed his train the poor cunt.

Maybe not as far fetched as you think. He would be re united with 2 Barca old boys who have the pups playing in a very stylish way. Cruyff is his mentor and as such would have a good working relationship. His own players believe he will leave soon enough and what greater challenge for him and his mentor to bring a club they can relate to ( a dominant force in europe) back to the position it was in when they were players themselves. The general quality in the prem is dropping rapidly so they may see the opportunity to good to resist. This may sound a bag of shite but I haven't half cheered myself up.

If Kenny decides to give it the trots I would like us to bring in Martinez. Partly due to the fact apart from one or two I do not know much about young foreign managers and I would worry about them getting a hard time off the scum press cunts here if they never hit the ground running. Always liked Martinez. Knows the prem and all the shite that goes with it. Likes to play in a positive way. Hopefully the King will sort it out and get us going so we won't need anyone for a while yet -
I wonder if Kenny doubts his own judgement after the Carroll signing compounded by the poor showing of the summer signings Kenny new early doors what Carroll was capable of and as much as he has tried to protect him he knows for certain he isn't a budding Shearer or Drogba. For that reason alone he should try and get as much dough together that he can and bring in a couple of stellar, Suarez like, signings rather than taking chances on average prem, Hoillet like, players. The back four has a lot of cover, so some improvement in the midfield and a fucking goalscorer of repute would help us convert draws into wins. I reckon if the Yak even now aged 46 had played up front for us this season he'd have slotted 20+ and we would have a lot more points. Loads of chances, not taken

It's not as simple as that and you know it. This is not as bad as people are making out. It's the same squad that has won at Chelsea and Arsenal, won a trophy. As poor as things are at the moment they don't feel as bad as they did for me around the time Houllier and Evans were together. We'd been knocked out the league cup at home to spurs and then an average Leeds scored 3 late on at Anfield and I remember looking at the bench knowing there was fuck all to come off it to help. This squad will be improved with players returning, genuinely talented kids coming through and maybe a stellar signing in the right positions. Every blue nosed gobshite I've spoken to is worried that we have give up worrying about the league to save ourselves to smash them at wembley. Don't think Pepe walking has been part of the plan. The captain steps up for every derby and this is another thing that concerns them. That said I think they will go through if only for the stupid reason that they are due one. If we beat them the way weve been performing lately they will be fucking suicidal.
