    So basically whatever weight I can do 5 lots of 5 reps. When people say they can bench press 180kg or whatever, they mean they can do 1 or a certain number of reps?

    I've never really done much bench pressing, I tend to do lower weights and high reps. How does it work, do you try to lift as high a weight as possible, how many reps do you do? Is there a benefit?

    Doesn't matter what people do when they go to the gym, its better than doing nothing at all. I've seen people doing exercises that are clearly not right for their body shape but so what? They are out of the house and trying to do something positive. That's what gyms are for. Lets all stay at home and do our exercises, order takeaways, talk to friends online, get our shopping delivered and buy everything we need on Amazon.
