  1. Sounds like he wants a doer-upper club he can tinker with, so he's not left twiddling his thumbs like he was once Klopp got his team together and shifted approach to more established players. Still don't like this multi-club lark, but I guess if you can't beat 'em and all that. The vote on the matter not going FSG's way must've swayed them.
  2. Straight out of the populist's handbook. Man of the people, I want my country back, culture wars, others, immigrants, liberal elite. Even chucks in a Trumpian "failing London Mayor". God knows if he even believes it. Seems a grifter desperate to be the right's Galloway.
  3. She's fine. She's just gone on a little fishing trip with Al Neri.
  4. At least Philip can't be accused of killing this one. Or can he?
  5. I'm sure the mention of Owen Smith was entirely unrelated.
  6. He's right though. If City win every game, and so do we, we're champions.
  7. Voted for increased taxes on bankers, increased taxes on high earners, a wholly elected second chamber, to name but a few. She's on the right of Labour on many issues, but hardly a Tory. I suspect the label lies in not backing Corbyn though.
  8. EVERYONE WHO DISAGREES WITH ME IS A TORY!
  9. Everyone to the right of me is a Tory! See also right wing media: Everyone to the left of me is a dangerous communist! Ah, political debate in the 21st century.
  10. This is like the British version of Capricorn One.
  11. Lee Anderson has had quite the journey. From coal miner to Labour MP, to Tory, now to Reform? They say you get more right wing as you get older. On this trajectory he'll be in the Aryan Brotherhood in five years.
  12. Looks like one of those ads for Google Pixel's Best Take. Often wondered if that'd be flagged as a manipulated image.
  13. He's effective at what he does, taking a good touch, recycling possession, and working his nuts off when the opposition have it. He's 20, and playing for one of the most demanding sides on the planet. Not sure what people really expect of him.
  14. He's exactly the kind of player all league-winning managers love to have. Maybe not in the starting XI when everyone is fit, but able to keep pushing to be in the mix, slot in and give 100%. You don't win titles without one or two of those. Him and Gomez have been essential to our season not coming off the rails.
  15. All three teams are in it. No point pretending there's more than a Rizla between us all. No clear winners or bottlers this season.
  16. If we lose I'll be negging any bed-wetters so much as intimating our title hopes are over.
  17. Watching Coda right now. It's still a bad film, no matter how it's cut. The script is so clunky, Sofia Coppola's acting is the least of its problems. Robert Duvall did well to swerve it. It's closer to a '90s Columbo episode in acting than the first two films.
  18. I'd rather see if Wilder has anything left and put him against Joshua. Two punchers just looking to launch the other's head into orbit.
